To repeat a single track, choose the track that  
you want to repeat, then press the Play/Pause  
Button (16) to start the track. Press the Repeat  
Button (9) once to repeat this track.

Press the Program Button (10). " 01" will  
shown on the display.  
About This Manual  
Press the Forward Skip Button (15) or  
the Backward Skip Button (14) to select  
a track.  
To repeat all tracks, press the Play/Pause  
Button (16) to start the CD. Press the Repeat  
Button (9) twice to repeat all tracks. Once the  
CD ends, it will start over again from the  
beginning of the CD.  
Instructions in this manual describe the control  
functions of the CR6001A.

To stop playback, press the Stop/Eject (35)

Press the Stop/Eject (35) button again to  
eject the cassette.  
Antenna: for FM reception, the unit is provided with  
a FM WIRE ANTENNA (31) , move the wire until  
the reception is clear and with no interferences. For  
AM reception, the unit is provided with a directional  
build-in ferrite antenna. Rotate the set to find the  
position in which the best reception is obtained. Do  
not connect the EXTERNAL FM ANTENNA (31) to  
any outside antenna.

While playback is stopped, press the Fast  
Forward (34) or Rewind (33) button to fast  
forward or rewind the cassette.

USB Operation  
Once the desired position is reached on the  
cassette, press the Stop/Eject (35) button  
to stop the cassette.  
Using the included software and cable, the USB  
connection allows you record your records onto your  
computer. Follow these instructions to use the USB.  
Press the Play button (32) to begin play.

Insert the enclosed software CD into your  
computer.  
NOTE: The cassette player plays the side of the  
cassette facing away from the unit. To  
play the other side of the cassette, you  
must eject the cassette and turn it over.  
Follow the instructions on the computer screen  
to install the software. If the software does not  
load automatically, browse the CD and open  
the Read Me folder for further instructions.

Connect the small end of the USB cable to the  
USB Jack (29) on the back of the unit.  
Connect the other end to a USB port on your  
computer.  
On your computer, open the Record Recording  
Software.  
For instructions on operating the Record  
Recording Software, browse the software CD  
and open the Read Me folder.

You can connect external components to your  
unit by using the Auxiliary Input.

The AC plugged is not well connected.  
CAUTION  
Plug Auxiliary cable into the LINE IN Jack (26)  
on the back of your unit.

Make sure the Power Button is pushed in.  
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK

There is no Sound  
Switch the LINE IN Switch (27) to the ON  
position.

Check the volume level by turning the volume  
knob.  
CAUTION:  
Plug the other end of the Auxililary cable into  
the output jack on your desired external  
component.

Make sure the LINE IN SWITCH is in the OFF  
position if the LINE IN JACK is not being used.  
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, DO NOT REMOVE COVER (OR  
BACK). NO USER - SERVICEABLE PARTS INSIDE. REFER SERVICING TO  
QUALIFIED SERVICE PERSONNEL.  
Turntable will not work

Check the volume level of your external  
component.

Make sure the function switch is set to phono.  
The lighting flash with arrowhead symbol, within an equilateral triangle, is  
intended to alert user to the presence of uninsulated "dangerous voltage"  
within the product's enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute  
risk of electric shock to persons.

Make sure the protective needle cover is  
removed.  
See operators manual for correct operation of  
the external component.  
NOTE: When not using the Auxiliary Input, make  
sure the LINE IN Switch (27) is in the  
OFF position.  
CD does not play

Check to make sure CD is inserted correctly  
(label side facing up).  
The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert user  
to the presence of important operating and maintenance (servicing) instruction  
in the literature accompanying the appliance.

Check that the surface of the CD is clean  
Make sure function switch is set to CD.  
CAUTION  
For Compact Disc Units Only:  
INVISBLE LASER RADIATION WHEN OPEN AND INTERLOCK FAILED

the CD Door (11). Place a disc in the tray  
with the labeled side of the disc facing up.

close the CD Door (11). The display will  
show “— —“ for a few seconds, then the total  
number of tracks on the disc will be displayed.  
“00” will be shown when there is no disc inside  
the unit.

Accessory: ADAPTER FOR 45 RPM  
This adapter allows you to play 45 RPM records.

Remove packing materials from unit.  
Note: Save all packing materials.

Rotate the Function Switch (2) to Phono mode.

Unwind the AC Power Cord (30) at the back  
of the unit and connect it to a power outlet.  
Set the Speed Control Switch (22) to the correct  
speed (331/3, 45 or 78 rpm) for the selected  
record.

Remove plastic bag covering radio.  
Plug A/C cord into appropriate outlet.  
Remove plastic safety cover from A/C plug.

Use the Cue Lever (20) to raise the tone arm  
off its rest. Move the tone arm over the record  
and use the cue lever to lower it to the point  
you want the record to start.  
AC  
Remove tie from A/C cord and untie antenna  
wire on back of radio.

Place the 45 RPM adapter over the spindle.  
Polarized Plug  
Gently place your 45 RPM record onto the  
turntable.  
At the end of the record, the tone arm will return  
to its rest.

Open lid and remove styrofoam shipping  
material from turntable.

This product is equipped with a polarized  
alternating current line plug (a plug having one  
blade wider than the other). This plug will fit into  
the power outlet only one way. This is a safety  
feature, If you are unable to insert the plug fully  
into the outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug  
should still fail to fit, contact you electrician to  
replace your obsolete outlet. Do not defeat the  
purpose of the polarized plug.

Follow the steps under turntable operation to  
play your record.  
Remove black tie-wrap from under the tone  
arm.  
Remove white protective needle cover by gently  
pulling towards the front of the unit.  
Headphones Jack Operation

Connect headphones to the Headphone  
Jack (6)  
Adjust volume to the desired listening level.

Untie the FM antenna and allow it to hang down  
in a straight line for optimum FM reception. If  
you have trouble tuning in an FM station, move  
the external FM antenna for best reception. Do  
no connect FM antenna to outside antenna.  
NOTE: When using headphones, the sound to the unit  
speakers will be cut off.  
NOTE: Headphones not included.
