How to Run Casio MS-300M
The Casio MS-300m works just like any calculator, but it calculates time! It is
used to calculate Time Taken for Green Cards. It’s easy - just enter it the way
you would say it!
1. Enter the
END time from
the Green Card as
HH (H/M/S)
MM (H/M/S)
SS (H/M/S)
Ex: Enter
12 (H/M/S)
02 (H/M/S)
33 (H/M/S) for
12:02:33 then
Press the MINUS
key
Press the
H/M/S
key
between
each
time
0 – 00’00”
entry as
if it were
the :
(colon)
key. See

Example.
2. Next enterthe
START Ex: Enter
11 (H/M/S)
15 (H/M/S)
00 (H/M/S) for
11:15:00
3. Press the EQUAL
key and the Time
Taken will appear
Ex: 0:47:33 (47
minutes and 33
seconds) would
appear for the
example given.
• If Start time is a “12:xx:xx” and the End time is a “1:xx:xx”, you will have to use “military
time” i.e. make the 1 a 13. There will only be 7 or 8 entries that are like that – the ones
that start from around 12:30 on until 1:00. Entries that start at 1:00 or after are OK again!
• Wet calculatorsdon’t work. Keep yourcalculator DRY!
