This installation guide provides instructions for installing the AXIS 216FD, AXIS 216FD-V,
AXIS 216MFD and AXIS 216MFD-V Fixed Network Dome Camera on your network. For all
other aspects of using the product, please see the User’s Manual, available on the CD

Install the hardware
IMPORTANT! - The casing of the AXIS 216FD/216FD-V/216MFD/216MFD-V
is not approved for outdoor use - the product may only be installed in indoor
environments.

Mount the camera
The AXIS 216FD/216FD-V/216MFD/216MFD-V can be mounted with the cables routed
through the wall/ceiling, or from above or below. There are cover plates for the openings on
both sides of the dome cover. The AXIS 216FD-V/216MFD-V can also be fitted with a metal
conduit for protecting the cabling when connected via the side openings. See the
illustrations on page 4.
1. Using the drill template, drill two holes in the ceiling/wall.
3. Fasten the camera unit to a ceiling or wall, using screws and plugs appropriate for the
ceiling/wall material.
4. Ensure the camera is positioned so that the tamper-proof screws can be tightened using
the supplied screwdriver.
Mounting on a hard ceiling
To mount the AXIS 216FD/216FD-V/216MFD/216MFD-V on a hard ceiling, check that the
ceiling material is sturdy enough to hold the weight of the camera.
The camera can also be secured using a plate or board that better carries the weight of the
camera, and which is more suitable for securing the screws.

Connect the cables
1. Connect the camera to the network using a shielded network cable.

Assign an IP address
Most networks today have a DHCP server that automatically assigns IP addresses to
connected devices. If your network does not have a DHCP server the AXIS 216FD/216FD-V/
216MFD/216MFD-V will use 192.168.0.90 as the default IP address.
If you would like to assign a static IP address the recommended method in Windows is either
AXIS IP Utility or AXIS Camera Management. Depending on the number of cameras you
wish to install, use the method that best suits your purpose.

AXIS IP Utility - single camera/small installation
AXIS IP Utility automatically discovers and displays Axis devices on your network. The
application can also be used to manually assign a static IP address.
Note that the computer running AXIS IP Utility must be on the same network segment
(physical subnet) as the AXIS 216FD/216FD-V/216MFD/216MFD-V.
Automatic discovery
1. Check that the AXIS 216FD/216FD-V/216MFD/216MFD-V is connected to the network
and that power has been applied.
2. Start AXIS IP Utility.
3. When the camera appears in the window, double-click it to open its home page.
Assign the IP address manually (optional)
1. Acquire an unused IP address on the same network segment as your computer.
2. Select the AXIS 216FD/AXIS 216MFD in the list.
3. Click the button

AXIS Camera Management - multiple cameras/large installations
AXIS Camera Management can automatically discover multiple Axis devices, show
connection status, manage firmware upgrades and set IP addresses.
Automatic discovery
1. Check that the camera is connected to the network and that power has been applied.
2. Start AXIS Camera Management. When the AXIS 216FD/AXIS 216MFD appears in the
window, double-click it to open the camera’s home page.
Assign an IP address in a single device
1. Select AXIS 216FD/AXIS 216MFD in AXIS Camera Man-
agement and click the Assign IP button.
2. Select Assign the following IP address and enter the IP
address, the subnet mask and default router the device
will use.
3. Click the OK button.
Assign IP addresses in multiple devices
AXIS Camera Management speeds up the process of
assigning IP addresses to multiple devices, by suggesting IP
addresses from a specified range.
1. Select the devices you wish to configure (different mod-
els can be selected) and click the Assign IP button.
2. Select Assign the following IP address range and enter
the range of IP addresses, the subnet mask and default
router the devices will use.
3. Click the OK button.
Note:
AXIS 216FD and AXIS 216FD-V will display in AXIS Camera Management as
AXIS 216FD. AXIS 216MFD and AXIS 216MFD-V will display in AXIS Camera
Management as AXIS 216MFD.

Set the password
When accessing the AXIS 216FD/216FD-V/
216MFD/216MFD-V for the first time, the
‘Configure Root Password’ dialog will be
displayed.
1. Enter a password and then re-enter it, to con-
firm the spelling. Click OK.
2. Enter the user name root in the ‘Enter
Network Password’ dialog.
Note: The default administrator user name root cannot be deleted.
3. Enter the password as set above, and click OK. If the password is lost, the AXIS 216FD/
4. If required, click Yes to install AMC (AXIS Media Control), which allows viewing of the
video stream in Internet Explorer. You will need administrator rights on the computer to
do this.
The Live View page of the AXIS 216FD/216FD-V/216MFD/216MFD-V is displayed, with
links to the Setup tools, which allow you to customize the camera. Note that both AXIS
216FD/216FD-V will display in the browser as AXIS 216FD and AXIS 216MFD/216MFD-V
will display in the browser as the AXIS 216MFD.

Adjust the image and focus
Open the Live View page in the web interface and make the following adjustments to the
camera:
1. Loosen the locking screw and

6. To set the focus and zoom,
loosen the zoom and focus pullers anti-clockwise and rotate the rings.
Note:
Due to the dome’s refraction, the image might appear slightly out of focus once
the dome has been placed. To compensate, focus on an object slightly closer than
the inteded area.
7. Lock the focus and zoom pullers in position by rotating the screws clockwise.
The image can also be fine-tuned for low lighting conditions.
Go to Setup > Video & Image > Advanced and see the online help for more information.
Complete the installation
1. Rotate the black protective shield inside the dome casing to match the camera’s position.
2. Clean the dome with a dry soft cloth to remove dust and finger prints and use a blower
to remove dust from the lens.
3. Mount the dome casing using the supplied tamper-proof screws and screw driver.
4. Now that the dome is in place, double-check that the camera is properly focused.
5. The installation is now complete.

Accessing the camera from the Internet
Once installed, your AXIS 216FD/216FD-V/216MFD/216MFD-V is accessible on your local
network (LAN). To access the camera from the Internet, network routers must be configured
to allow incoming traffic, which is usually done on a specific port. Please refer to the
documentation for your router for further instructions. For more information on this and

camera, by disconnecting and reconnecting power.

Unit connectors
Network connector - RJ-45 Ethernet connector. Supports Power over Ethernet. Using
shielded cables is recommended.
Power connector - Mini DC connector. 5.1V DC, max 3.8W. See product label for ±
connection.
Audio in - 3.5mm input for a mono microphone, or a line-in mono signal (left channel is
used from a stereo signal).
Audio out - Audio output (line level) that can be connected to a public address (PA) system
or an active speaker with a built-in amplifier. A pair of headphones can also be attached. A
stereo connector must be used for the audio out.
I/O terminal connector - Used in applications for e.g. motion detection, event triggering,
time lapse recording and alarm notifications. It provides the interface to:

1 transistor output - For connecting external devices such as relays and LEDs.
Connected devices can be activated by AXIS VAPIX AP, output buttons on the
Live View page or by an Event Type. The output will show as active (shown
under Event Configuration > Port Status) if the alarm device is activated.
1 digital input - An alarm input for connecting devices that can toggle between
an open and closed circuit, for example: PIRs, door/window contacts, glass break
detectors, etc. When a signal is received the state changes and the input becomes
active (shown under Event Configuration > Port Status).

Resetting to the Factory Default Settings
This will reset all parameters, including the IP address, to the Factory Default settings:
1. Disconnect power from the camera.
2. Press and hold the Control button and reconnect power.
3. Keep the Control button pressed until the Power indicator flashes amber (this may take
up to 15 seconds).
4. Release the Control button. When the Power indicator displays green (which can take up
to 1 minute) the process is complete and the camera has been reset.
5. Re-assign the IP address, using one of the methods described in this document.
It is also possible to reset parameters to the original factory default settings via the web
interface. For more information, please see the online help or the user’s manual.

Montage de la caméra

Branchement des câbles

Attribution d'une adresse IP
Aujourd'hui, la plupart des réseaux comportent un serveur DHCP qui attribue
automatiquement des adresses IP aux dispositifs connectés. Si ce n'est pas le cas de votre
réseau, l'AXIS 216FD/216FD-V/216MFD/216MFD-V utilisera l'adresse IP par défaut
192.168.0.90.
Si vous souhaitez affecter une adresse IP statique, sous Windows nous recommandons
l'utilisation de l'application AXIS IP Utility ou de l'application AXIS Camera Management.
Selon le nombre de caméras à installer, utilisez la méthode qui vous convient le mieux.

AXIS Camera Management - Plusieurs caméras/grandes installations
AXIS Camera Management peut détecter automatiquement plusieurs dispositifs Axis,
afficher les états de connexion, gérer les mises à niveau du microcode et définir les adresses
IP.
Détection automatique
1. Vérifiez que la caméra est connectée au réseau et que l'alimentation est activée.
2. Démarrez AXIS Camera Management. Double-cliquez sur l'icône de l'AXIS 216FD/
216FD-V/216MFD/216MFD-V lorsqu'elle apparaît dans la fenêtre de façon à ouvrir la
page d'accueil.
Attribuer une adresse IP à un seul dispositif
1. Sélectionnez AXIS 216FD/AXIS 216MFD dans l'applica-
tion AXIS Camera Management, puis cliquez sur le bou-
ton Assign IP (Affecter une IP).
2. Sélectionnez Assign the following IP address (Affecter

Définition du mot de passe
Si vous accédez à la caméra AXIS 216FD/216FD-
V/216MFD/216MFD-V pour la première fois, la
boîte de dialogue Configure Root Password
(Configurer le mot de passe root) s'affiche.
1. Entrez un mot de passe et entrez-le une
seconde fois pour en confirmer l'orthographe.
Cliquez sur OK.
2. Saisissez le nom d'utilisateur root dans la boîte
de dialogue Enter Network Password (Entrer le mot de passe réseau).
Remarque: le nom d'utilisateur par défaut de l'administrateur, à savoir root, ne peut pas
être supprimé.
3. Entrez le mot de passe comme expliqué ci-dessus, puis cliquez sur OK. Si vous avez
oublié votre mot de passe, vous devrez rétablir les paramètres d'usine par défaut de la
caméra AXIS 216FD/216FD-V/216MFD/216MFD-V. Reportez-vous à la page 30.
4. Si nécessaire, cliquez sur Yes (Oui) pour installer AMC (Axis Media Control) afin de
pouvoir visualiser le flux vidéo dans Internet Explorer. Pour ce faire, vous devrez être
connecté à votre ordinateur avec les droits d'administrateur.
La page Live View (Vidéo en direct) de la caméra AXIS 216FD/216FD-V/216MFD/216MFD-
V s'affiche, avec des liens vers les outils de configuration pour adapter la caméra à vos

Réglage de la mise au point
Ouvrez la page Live View (Vidéo en direct) dans l'interface Internet et effectuez les réglages

placé, Pour compenser, il faut mettre le foyer légèrement proche de la zone préfèrée.
7. Verrouillez les commandes de zoom et de mise au point en serrant les vis dans le sens des
aiguilles d'une montre.
L'image peut également être ajustée en cas de faible éclairage. Accédez à Setup > Video &
Image > Advanced (Configuration > Vidéo et image > Options avancées) et consultez les
fichiers d'aide pour en savoir plus.
Terminer l'installation
1. Tournez l'écran protecteur noir à l'intérieur du boîtier du dôme, conformément à la
position de la caméra.
2. Nettoyez le dôme avec un chiffon doux et sec pour enlever la poussière et les traces de
doigt. Dépoussiérez l'objectif avec un ventilateur.
3. Montez le boîtier du dôme à l'aide des vis inviolables et du tournevis fournis.
4. Une fois le dôme à sa place, vérifier le foyer est correctement ajusté.
5. L'installation est terminée.

Connecteurs de l'unité
Connecteur de réseau - Connecteur Ethernet RJ-45. Supporte l'Alimentation Eléctrique par
Câble Ethernet (PoE). Il est recommandé d'utiliser des câbles blindés.
Connecteur d’alimentation - Miniconnecteur CC. 5,1 V CC, jusqu'à 3.8W. Reportez-vous à
l'étiquette du produit pour connaître la connexion ±.
Entrée audio - 3.5 mm entrée pour microphone mono , ou ligne entrée en signale mono(le
canal à gauche est utilisé pour le signal stéréo.
Sortie audio - sortie audio qui peut être connecté à un système d'adresse publique(PA) ou
haut parleur actif avec amplificateur intégré. Une paire d'écouteur peut être auss connecté.
Un connecteur stéréo doit être utilisé pour la sortie audio.
Connecteur pour terminaux E/S - Utilisé dans les applications, par exemple pour la
détection de mouvement, le déclenchement d'événements, l'enregistrement à intervalles, les
notifications d'alarme, etc. Il sert d'interface aux éléments suivants:

1 sortie transistor: permet de connecter des dispositifs externes, comme des relais
ou DELs. Les dispositifs connectés peuvent être activés à l'aide d’AXIS VAPIX
API, des boutons de sortie sur la page Live View (Vidéo en direct) ou à l'aide
d'un type d'événement. La sortie est considérée comme étant active (Event Con-
figuration (Configuration d'événement) > Port Status (État du port)) si le dis-
positif d'alarme est activé.

1 entrée numérique: entrée d'alarme utilisée pour connecter des dispositifs pou-
vant passer d'un circuit ouvert à un circuit fermé, par exemple : les détecteurs
infrarouge passifs, les contacts de porte/fenêtre, les détecteurs de bris de verre,
etc. Lorsqu'un signal est reçu, l'état change et l'entrée devient active (elle appa-
raît sous Event Configuration (Configuration d'événement) > Port Status (État

Rétablissement des paramètres d'usine par défaut
Procédez comme suit pour revenir aux paramètres par défaut définis en usine et réinitialiser
l'adresse IP:
1. Débranchez l'alimentation de la caméra.
2. Maintenez le bouton de commande enfoncé et rebranchez l'alimentation.
3. Appuyez sur le bouton jusqu'à ce que le voyant d'alimentation passe à l'orange et
clignote (cela peut prendre jusqu'à 15 secondes).
4. Relâchez le bouton. Quand le voyant d'alimentation émet une lumière verte (ce qui peut
prendre 1 minute), la caméra est revenue aux réglages par défaut définis en usine.
5. Réinstallez la caméra à l'aide de l'une des méthodes décrites dans ce document.
Il est également possible de rétablir les paramètres usine par défaut d'origine via l'interface

Hardware installieren
WICHTIG! - Das Gehäuse der AXIS 216FD/216FD-V/216MFD/216MFD-V ist nicht
für den Gebrauch im Aussenbereich geeignet- die Kamera sollte nur in
Innenbereichen installiert werden.

Kamera befestigen
Für die Montage der AXIS 216FD/216FD-V/216MFD/216MFD-V können das Netzwerk- und
das Stromversorgungskabel durch die Wand oder von oben bzw. unten verlegt werden. Für
die Öffnungen auf beiden Seiten der Kuppelhaube sind Abdeckplatten vorhanden. Das Kabel
der AXIS 216FD-V/216MFD-V kann mit einem Metallrohr geschützt werden, wenn die
Kamera über die seitlichen Öffnungen angeschlossen wird. Siehe die Abbildungen auf
1. Bohren Sie mit Hilfe der Bohrschablone zwei Löcher in die Decke bzw. Wand.
3. Schrauben Sie die Kameraeinheit an der Decke bzw. Wand fest. Verwenden Sie dazu die
Schrauben und Dübel, die für das Material der Decke bzw. der Wand geeignet sind.
4. Die Kamera muss so platziert sein, dass die manipulationssicheren Schrauben mit dem
mitgelieferten Schraubendreher festgezogen werden können.
Deckenbefestigung
Wenn die AXIS 216FD/216FD-V/216MFD/216MFD-V an einer abgehängten Decke befestigt
werden soll, müssen Sie überprüfen, ob das Deckenmaterial stabil genug ist, um das Gewicht
der Kamera zu tragen.
Die Kamera kann durch eine Platte oder Tafel gesichert werden, die das Gewicht der Kamera
trägt und zum Befestigen der Schrauben besser geeignet ist.

Die AXIS 216FD kan zusammen mit der AXIS 216FD Deckenhalterung angebracht werden,
das erlaubt eine diskrete Montage der Kamera. Mehr Information zum Befestigungszubehör
Kabel anschließen
1. Verbinden Sie die Kamera über ein geschirmtes Netzwerkkabel mit dem Netzwerk.
2. Sie können zusätzlich externe Geräte, wie z. B. Alarmanlagen, anschließen.
Informationen zur Anschlussbelegung finden Sie auf seite 42.
3. Sie können für eine bidirektionale Audioverbindung zusätzlich einen Aktivlautsprecher
anschließen.
4. Schließen Sie die Kamera auf eine der folgenden Arten an die Stromversorgung an:

PoE-Anschluss (Power over Ethernet). Wenn PoE vorhanden ist wird der
Anschluss automatisch, bei Anschluss des Netzwerkkabels (siehe oben), erkannt.

Schließen Sie das mitgelieferte Netzteil an den Netzanschluss der Kamera an.
5. Überprüfen Sie, ob die LED-Anzeigen die Betriebszustände korrekt angeben. Weitere

IP-Adresse zuweisen
In den meisten Netzwerken ist heutzutage ein DHCP-Server eingebunden, der
angeschlossenen Geräten automatisch IP-Adressen zuweist. Wenn Ihr Netzwerk über keinen
DHCP-Server verfügt, wird für die AXIS 216FD/216FD-V/216MFD/216MFD-V die Standard-
IP-Adresse 192.168.0.90 verwendet.
Zum Zuweisen einer statischen IP-Adresse stehen unter Windows die Programme AXIS IP
Utility und AXIS Camera Management zur Verfügung. Verwenden Sie die Methode, die für
die gewünschte Anzahl der zu installierenden Kameras geeignet ist.
Beide Anwendungen stehen kostenlos auf der mitgelieferten CD für Axis-
heruntergeladen werden.

AXIS IP Utility - Einzelne Kamera/kleine Installation
AXIS IP Utility erkennt automatisch im Netzwerk vorhandene Axis-Geräte und zeigt diese
an. Die Anwendung kann außerdem zur manuellen Zuweisung einer statischen IP-Adresse
verwendet werden.
Beachten Sie, dass sich die AXIS 216FD/216FD-V/216MFD/216MFD-V und der Computer,
auf dem AXIS IP Utility ausgeführt wird, im gleichen Netzwerksegment (d. h. physischen
Subnetz) befinden müssen.
Automatische Erkennung
1. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die AXIS 216FD/216FD-V/216MFD/216MFD-V an das Netzwerk
und die Stromversorgung angeschlossen ist.
2. Starten Sie AXIS IP Utility.
3. Doppelklicken Sie auf das Symbol der Kamera, um die entsprechende Startseite zu
öffnen.
Manuelle Zuweisung der IP-Adresse (optional)
1. Wählen Sie eine nicht zugewiesene IP-Adresse im selben Netzwerksegment, in dem sich
Ihr Computer befindet.
2. Wählen Sie die AXIS 216FD/AXIS 216MFD aus der Liste.
3. Klicken Sie auf die Schaltfläche
Zuweisung einer neuen IP-Adresse an das
ausgewählte Gerät und geben Sie die IP Adresse an.
4. Klicken Sie auf die Schaltfläche Zuweisen, und folgen Sie den Anweisungen.
5. Klicken Sie auf die Schaltfläche Home Page (Startseite), um auf die Webseiten der
Kamera zuzugreifen.

AXIS Camera Management - Mehrere Kameras/große Installation
Mit AXIS Camera Management können automatisch mehrere Axis-Geräte erkannt, der
Verbindungsstatus angezeigt, die Firmware-Aktualisierungen verwaltet und IP-Adressen
festgelegt werden.
Automatische Erkennung
1. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Kamera an das Netzwerk und die Stromversorgung ange-
schlossen ist.
2. Starten Sie AXIS Camera Management. Doppelklicken Sie auf das Symbol der AXIS
216FD/216FD-V/216MFD/216MFD-V, um die Startseite der Kamera zu öffnen.
Eine IP-Adresse einem einzelnen Gerät zuweisen
1. Wählen Sie die AXIS 216FD/AXIS 216MFD im AXIS
Camera
Management, und klicken Sie auf die Schaltfläche
Assign IP (IP-Adresse zuweisen)
2. Wählen Sie die Option Assign the following IP address
(Folgende IP-Adresse zuweisen) und geben Sie die IP-
Adresse, die Subnetzmaske und den Standardrouter für
das Gerät ein.
3. Klicken Sie auf OK.
IP-Adressen mehreren Geräten zuweisen
AXIS Camera Management beschleunigt die Zuweisung von IP-Adressen an mehrere Geräte,
indem IP-Adressen aus einem angegebenen Bereich vorgeschlagen werden.
1. Wählen Sie die zu konfigurierenden Geräte aus (es kön-
nen auch unterschiedliche Modelle gewählt werden), und
klicken Sie auf die Schaltfläche Assign IP (IP-Adresse
zuweisen).
2. Wählen Sie die Option Assign the following IP address
range (Folgenden IP-Adressbereich zuweisen) und geben
Sie den IP-Adressbereich, die Subnetzmaske und den
Standardrouter für das Geräteein.
3. Klicken Sie auf OK.

Kennwort festlegen
Beim erstmaligen Zugriff auf die AXIS 216FD/
216FD-V/216MFD/216MFD-V wird das
Dialogfeld „Configure Root Password (Root-
Kennwort konfigurieren)“ angezeigt.
1. Geben Sie ein Kennwort ein, und wieder-
holen Sie die Eingabe, um die korrekte
Schreibweise zu bestätigen. Klicken Sie auf
OK.
2. Geben Sie in das Dialogfeld „Enter network password“ als Kennwort „ root“ ein.
Hinweis: Der standardmäßige Administrator-Benutzername „root“ kann nicht gelöscht
werden.
3. Geben Sie das in Schritt 1 festgelegte Kennwort ein, und klicken Sie auf OK. Wenn Sie
das Kennwort vergessen haben, muss die AXIS 216FD/216FD-V/216MFD/216MFD-V auf
4. Klicken Sie auf Ja, um AMC (AXIS Media Control) zu installieren. Nach Abschluss der
Installation können Sie Video-Streams in Microsoft Internet Explorer anzeigen. Hierzu
müssen Sie über Administratorrechte für den Computer verfügen.

angezeigt. Sie enthält Links zu Setup-Tools, mit denen Sie die Kamera Ihren Bedürfnissen
entsprechend anpassen können. Notieren Sie Bitte, AXIS 216FD und AXIS 216FD-V werden
im Browser als 216FD angezeigt. AXIS 216MFD und AXIS 216MFD-V werden im Browser
als 216MFD angezeigt.

Bildschärfe einstellen
Öffnen Sie die Seite Direktübertragung, und nehmen Sie folgende Einstellungen an der
Kamera vor:
1. Lösen Sie die Fests-
tellschraube und die Ein-
stellschrauben zur Neigung.
2. Drehen Sie das Objektiv in
die gewünschte Position.

Weboberfläche unter Standardkonfiguration > Fokus die Seite „Bildschärfe einstellen“,
und folgen Sie den Bildschirmanweisungen. Stellen Sie mit dem Bildfenster die
Bildschärfe und den Zoom ein.
6. Lösen Sie für die Einstellung der Bildschärfe und des Zooms die Regler für Zoom und
Fokus entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn, und drehen Sie die Ringe.
Hinweis:
Durch die Lichtbrechung der Kuppel, Könnte das Bild etwas unscharf erscheinen, sobald die Kuppel ver-
schraubt worden ist. Zum Ausgleich fokussieren Sie die Kamera auf einen Gegenstand der etwas näher
als der beabsichtigte Bereich steht.
7. Arretieren Sie Zoomregler und Schärferegler in der gewählten Position. Ziehen Sie dazu
die Schrauben im Uhrzeigersinn fest.
Sie können auch eine Feinabstimmung des Bildes für schlechte Lichtverhältnisse vornehmen.
Klicken Sie dazu auf Setup > Video und Bild > Erweitert, und lesen Sie die Informationen
in der Online-Hilfe.
Installation abschließen
1. Bringen Sie das schwarze Schutzschild in der Kuppelhaube durch Drehen in Übereinstim-
mung mit der Kameraposition.
2. Entfernen Sie Fingerabdrücke und Staub von der Glasoberfläche mit einem trockenem,
weichen Tuch. Blasen Sie Staub ggf. mit Druckluft von der Linse.
3. Befestigen Sie die Kuppelhaube mit Hilfe der im Lieferumfang enthaltenen
manipulationssicheren Schrauben und dem Schraubendreher.
4. Num da die Kamera motiert ist, vergewissern Sie sich, das die Kamera richtig fokussiert
ist.
5. Die Installation ist damit abgeschlossen.

Über das Internet auf die Kamera zugreifen
Sobald die AXIS 216FD/216FD-V/216MFD/216MFD-V installiert ist, können Sie über Ihr
lokales Netzwerk (LAN) auf die Kamera zugreifen. Um auch über das Internet auf die Kamera
zugreifen zu können, müssen Sie die Netzwerk-Router so konfigurieren, dass diese den
entsprechenden eingehenden Datenverkehr zulassen, was üblicherweise durch Zuweisung
eines bestimmten Ports geschieht. Ausführliche Informationen zu diesem Thema finden Sie
in der Dokumentation des Routers.

3. Öffnen Sie auf Ihrem Computer die Eingabeaufforderung, und geben Sie die folgenden Befehle ein:

4. Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Netzwerkkabel mit der Kamera verbunden ist, und starten Sie die Kamera
bzw. starten Sie diese neu, indem Sie die Stromversorgung unterbrechen und wiederherstellen.
5. Schließen Sie die Befehlszeile, sobald „Reply from 192.168.0.125: ...“ oder eine ähnliche Meldung
erscheint.
6. Starten Sie einen Browser, geben Sie im Adressfeld „http://<IP-Adresse>“ ein, und drücken Sie die
Eingabetaste auf der Tastatur.

• So öffnen Sie unter Windows die Eingabeaufforderung: Wählen Sie im Startmenü die Option

Kameraanschlüsse
Netzwerkanschluss - RJ-45-Ethernetanschluss. Unterstützt PoE-Anschluss. Die Verwendung
von geschirmten Kabeln wird empfohlen.
Stromanschluss - Mini-Gleichstromanschluss; 5.1 V Gleichstrom, max. 3.8W; Siehe
Produktaufkleber bezüglich ±-Anschluss.
Audioeingang - 3.5mm Anschluss für ein Monomikrofon oder ein Monosignal (linker Kanal
wird von einem Stereosignal benutzt).
Audioausgang - Der Audioausgang untersützt die line level Ausgabe und kann an einer PA-
Anlage oder einen aktiven Lautsprecher mit einem eingebauten Verstärker angeschlossen
werden. Ein Kopfhörer kann auch angeschlossen werden. Ein Stereostecker muß für den
Audioausgang benutzt werden.
E/A-Anschluss - Wird verwendet z. B. für Bewegungserkennung, Ereignistriggerung,
Zeitrafferaufnahmen, Alarm-Benachrichtigungen usw. und bildet die Schnittstelle für:

Werkseitige Standardeinstellungen wiederherstellen
Gehen Sie wie folgt vor, um sämtliche Parameter einschließlich der IP-Adresse auf die
werkseitigen Standardeinstellungen zurückzusetzen:
1. Trennen Sie die Kamera von der Stromversorgung.
2. Halten Sie die Steuertaste gedrückt, und schließen Sie den Netzstecker wieder an.
3. Halten Sie die Steuertaste so lange gedrückt, bis die Betriebsanzeige gelb blinkt (dies
kann bis zu 15 Sekunden dauern).
4. Lassen Sie die Steuertaste los. Sobald die Betriebsanzeige grün leuchtet (dies kann bis zu
1 Minute dauern), ist die Kamera auf die werkseitigen Standardeinstellungen
zurückgesetzt.
5. Installieren Sie die AXIS 216FD/216FD-V/216MFD/216MFD-V erneut. Wenden Sie dabei
eines der in diesem Handbuch beschriebenen Verfahren an.
Die Parameter können auch über die Weboberfläche auf die werkseitigen Einstellungen
zurückgesetzt werden. Weitere Informationen dazu finden Sie in der Online-Hilfe und im
Benutzerhandbuch.

Montaggio della videocamera
La videocamera AXIS 216FD/216FD-V/216MFD/216MFD-V può essere montata con i cavi di
rete e di alimentazione che passano attraverso la parete o il soffitto oppure inseriti dall'alto o
dal basso. Su entrambi i lati del coperchio della cupola sono disponibili delle aperture. AXIS
216FD-V/216MFD-V puó anche essere adattata ad una conduttura metallica per la
protezione del cablaggio, quando si collega tramite l'apertura laterale. Vedere le illustrazioni
1. Eseguire due fori nel soffitto o nella parete utilizzando la sagoma fornita nella

Collegamento dei cavi

Impostazione di un indirizzo IP
La maggior parte delle reti dispone di un server DHCP che automaticamente assegna gli
indirizzi IP ai dispositivi connessi. Se la rete non dispone di un server DHCP, per il
dispositivo AXIS 216FD/216FD-V/216MFD/216MFD-V viene utilizzato l'indirizzo IP
predefinito 192.168.0.90.
Per assegnare un indirizzo IP statico, si consiglia di utilizzare AXIS IP Utility o AXIS
Camera Management in ambiente Windows. In base al numero di videocamere da installare,
utilizzare il metodo che meglio si adatta alle proprie esigenze.

AXIS IP Utility: videocamera singola/piccole installazioni
AXIS IP Utility consente di individuare e visualizzare automaticamente la presenza di
periferiche Axis sulla rete. L’applicazione inoltre può essere utilizzare per assegnare
manualmente un indirizzo IP statico.
Si tenga presente che il dispositivo AXIS 216FD/216FD-V/216MFD/216MFD-V deve essere
installato sullo stesso segmento di rete (subnet fisica) del computer sul quale è in esecuzione
AXIS IP Utility.
Rilevamento automatico
1. Verificare che il dispositivo AXIS 216FD/216FD-V/216MFD/216MFD-V sia collegato alla
rete e alimentato correttamente.
2. Avviare AXIS IP Utility.
3. Quando la videocamera verrà visualizzata, fare doppio clic su di essa per aprirne la home
page.
Assegnazione manuale dell'indirizzo IP (facoltativo)
1. Acquisire un indirizzo IP non utilizzato sullo stesso segmento di rete del computer.

AXIS Camera Management: più videocamere/grandi installazioni
È possibile utilizzare AXIS Camera Management per individuare automaticamente la
presenza di più dispositivi Axis, mostrare lo stato di connessione, gestire gli aggiornamenti
del firmware e impostare gli indirizzi IP.
Rilevamento automatico
1. Verificare che la videocamera sia collegata alla rete e alimentata correttamente.
2. Avviare AXIS Camera Management. Quando verrà visualizzato il dispositivo AXIS

Impostazione della password
Quando si accede a AXIS 216FD/216FD-V/
216MFD/216MFD-V per la prima volta, viene
visualizzata la finestra di dialogo "Configura
password di primo livello."
1. Immettere la password, quindi inserirla di
nuovo per confermarne l'esattezza. Fare clic
su OK.
2. Immettere il nome utente di primo livello nella finestra di dialogo Immetti password di
rete. Nota: non è possibile eliminare il nome utente predefinito dell'amministratore.
3. Inserire la password impostata in precedenza e fare clic su OK. Se si dimentica la
password, sarà necessario ripristinare le impostazioni di fabbrica di AXIS 216FD/216FD-
V/216MFD/216MFD-V. Vedere pagina 56.
4. Se necessario, fare clic su Sì per installare AMC (Axis Media Control) che consente di
visualizzare il flusso video in Microsoft Internet Explorer. A questo scopo è necessario

Aprire la pagina Immagini dal vivo dell'interfaccia Web ed effettuare le seguenti operazioni
nella videocamera:

A causa della rifrazione della cupola, l’immagine puó apparire leggermente sfocata una
volta posizionata la cupola. Per compensare questo difetto, mettere a fuoco un oggetto piú
vicino rispetto all’area che si desiderava.
7. Bloccare le levette di messa a fuoco e di zoom nella posizione desiderata ruotando le viti
in senso orario.
È possibile inoltre ottimizzare l'immagine in caso di condizioni di ridotta luminosità.
Selezionare Configurazione > Video e immagine > Avanzate e consultare la Guida in linea
per ulteriori informazioni.
Completamento dell'installazione
1. Ruotare lo schermo di protezione di colore nero all'interno della cupola per posizionare
correttamente la videocamera.
2. Pulire la cupola con un panno morbido e asciutto per rimuovere polvere e impronte
digitali; utilizzare un soffietto per rimuovere la polvere dall'obiettivo.
3. Montare la cupola utilizzando le viti antimanomissione e il cacciavite inclusi nella
confezione.
4. Ora che la cupolaé posizionata, controllare nuovamente che la telecamera sia a fuoco.
5. L'installazione è completata.

Audio in - 3.5 mm per microfono in mono o segnale mono line-in (il canale sinistro é usato
da un segnale in stereo).
Audio out - Audio in output che puó essere connesso ad un sistema di indirizzo pubblico
(PA), oppure ad un altoparlante con amplificatore integrato. Un paio di cuffie possono essere
collegate. Un connettore stereo deve essere usato per l'audio out.
Morsettiera di alimentazione I/O - Utilizzata per varie applicazioni come, ad esempio, la
rilevazione del movimento, l’attivazione di eventi, la registrazione continua, la notifica di
allarmi e così via. Fornisce l’interfaccia per:

Ripristino delle impostazioni di fabbrica
Questa procedura consentirà di ripristinare le impostazioni di fabbrica per tutti i parametri,
incluso l'indirizzo IP.
1. Scollegare l'alimentazione dalla videocamera.
2. Tenere premuto il pulsante Control e ricollegare il cavo di alimentazione.
3. Tenere premuto il pulsante Control fino a quando l'indicatore di alimentazione emette
una luce gialla lampeggiante (l'operazione può richiedere fino a 15 secondi).
4. Rilasciare il pulsante Control. Quando l'indicatore di alimentazione diventa verde
(l'operazione può richiedere fino a 1 minuto) la procedura è completata e sono state
ripristinate le impostazioni di fabbrica per la videocamera.
5. Reinstallare AXIS 216FD/216FD-V/216MFD/216MFD-V utilizzando uno dei metodi
descritti nel presente documento.

aprobada para ser utilizada en exteriores, el producto debe instalarse sólo en
interiores bajo techo.

Montaje de la cámara
La AXIS 216FD/216FD-V/216MFD/216MFD-V puede montarse haciendo pasar los cables de
red y alimentación a través de la pared o el techo, desde arriba o desde abajo. Existen placas
de cubiertas para aberturas a los dos lados de la cubierta de la cúpula. El AXIS 216FD-V/
216MFD-V puede instalarse con un conducto de metal para la protección del cableado si se
conecta por las aberturas laterales. Consulte las ilustraciones de la página 60.
1. Utilizando la plantilla de taladrado, haga dos orificios en el techo o la pared.
3. Fije la cámara al techo o pared con los tornillos y tacos adecuados para el material de

Conexión de los cables
1. Conecte la cámara a la red con un cable de red blindado.

Configuración de una dirección IP
Actualmente, la mayoría de redes disponen de un servidor DHCP que asigna direcciones IP a

AXIS IP Utility: para cámaras individuales o instalaciones pequeñas
AXIS IP Utility encuentra y muestra automáticamente los dispositivos Axis que existen en la
red. Además, puede utilizarse para asignar manualmente una dirección IP estática.
Recuerde que el equipo que ejecute AXIS IP Utility debe instalarse en el mismo segmento de

Detección automática

AXIS Camera Management: para varias cámaras e instalaciones

AXIS Camera Management puede detectar automáticamente varios dispositivos Axis,

Detección automática
1. Compruebe que la cámara está conectada a la red y que recibe alimentación.

Asignación de una dirección IP en un dispositivo individual

Ajuste del enfoque
Abra la página En vivo en la interfaz Web y realice los ajustes siguientes en la cámara:

Notas:
Debido a la reflexión en el domo, la imagen puede aparecer ligeramente fuera de
foco una vez aue el domo ha sido puesto en su lugar. Para compensar, enfoque un
objeto más cercano que el área que se desea vigilar.
7. Bloquee los botones de enfoque y zoom en posición girando los tornillos en el sentido de
las agujas del reloj.
La imagen también puede ajustarse en caso de poca iluminación. Si desea más información,
vaya a Configuración > Vídeo e imagen > Avanzada y consulte la ayuda en línea.
Finalización de la instalación
1. Gire el revestimiento de protección negro del interior de la carcasa de la burbuja para
que coincida con la posición de la cámara.
2. Limpie la burbuja con un trapo suave y seco para eliminar el polvo y las huellas
dactilares y utilice un ventilador para retirar el polvo de la lente.
3. Monte la carcasa de la burbuja utilizando los tornillos de alta resistencia y el
destornillador suministrados.
4. Ahora que el domo esta en su lugar, verifique de manera doble que la cámara esta
enfocada de manera apropiada.
5. La instalación ha finalizado.

Conector de red - Conector Ethernet RJ-45. Ayudas Power over Ethernet (PoE). Se
recomienda emplear cables blindados.
Conector de alimentación - Conector mini de CC. 5,1V CC, máx. 3,8 W. Consulte la etiqueta
del producto para información sobre la conexión de polaridad positiva o negativa ±
Entrada de audio - Conector de 3.5mm para micrófono mono, o entrada de línea de señal
mono (se usa el canal izquierdo de una señal estéreo).
Salida de audio - Salida de audio (nivel línea) que puede ser conectada a un sistema de
megafonía pública o a un altavoz con amplificador incorporado. También puede conectarse
a unos auriculares. Debe utilizarse un conector estéreo.
Conector del terminal de E/S - Utilizado, por ejemplo, en aplicaciones de detección de
movimiento, activación de eventos, grabación de lapsos de tiempo, notificaciones de alarma,
etc. Proporciona a la interfaz la conexión de:

Restablecimiento de los valores iniciales
Esta operación restaurará todos los parámetros, incluida la dirección IP, a los valores
iniciales:
1. Desconecte la alimentación de la cámara.
2. Mantenga presionado el botón de control y vuelva a conectar la alimentación.
3. Mantenga presionado el botón de control hasta que el indicador de alimentación emita
una luz ámbar (puede tardar hasta 15 segundos en encenderse).
4. Suelte el botón de control. Cuando el indicador de alimentación emita una luz verde (lo
que puede tardar hasta 1 minuto), ha finalizado el proceso y se han restablecido los
valores iniciales de la cámara.
5. Vuelva a instalar la AXIS 216FD/216FD-V/216MFD/216MFD-V utilizando uno de los
métodos descritos en este documento.
También es posible restablecer los valores predeterminados de la cámara mediante la interfaz
