Installing a battery

Battery type

Use one CR123A or DL123A 3 V lithium battery in this camera.

1.^{Open the battery chamber lid.}

While releasing the lock as indicated by the arrow in the illustration

above, open the battery chamber lid.

2.^{Install a new battery.}

Observe the correct polarities and insert the battery in the direction

shown in the illustration above.

3.^{Close the battery chamber lid.}

Firmly press the battery chamber lid until it clicks shut.

The built-in clock is reset when the battery is removed. Remember to

set the time and date. (Lite Touch Zoom 140ED QD only) (

Turning the camera on

Open the slide cover.

Once you open the cover in the direction of the arrow, the camera is

turned on, the built-in flash automatically pops up, and the lens extends

out to the wide-angle position.

Slide the cover until it clicks.

When closing the cover, first slide it slightly in to start lens retraction.

When the lens is completely retracted, slowly close the cover.

Checking the battery power

Make sure that the Low Battery Power indicator

(

) is not appeared on the LCD panel.

If “

” is not appeared, battery power is sufficient.

” is blinking, or all the indicators on the LCD panel do not

appear, the battery is exhausted. Replace it with a new one.

Always check the battery condition before shooting.

It is recommended to carry spare batteries with you. The batteries may

be difficult to obtain in some areas.

Loading the film

Tips on DX-coded 35mm film

Number of frames

Film speed

Use DX-coded 35mm film with this camera.

For DX-coded film, film speed is automatically set.

Film speeds valid for automatic setting are ISO50, 100, 200, 400, 800,

1600, and 3200.

With a non-DX-coded film, the film speed is automatically set to

ISO100.

When loading/unloading film, be sure not to open the camera back

cover into direct sunlight.

Film recommended

It is recommended to use ISO400 film, which provides good results in

flash photography, and reasonable protection against camera shake.

1.^{Open the camera back.}

Slide the camera back lock release lever (1), and open the camera

back (2).

2.^{Insert a film cartridge.}

3.^{Pull the film leader out to the red index mark.}

If the film leader is inserted farther than the red index mark or the end of

the film leader is folded, the film may not be wounded up properly.

Hold the film cartridge and ensure film is properly positioned with no

slack.

Close the camera back, and check that the film

has been correctly loaded.

Once the camera back is closed, the film automatically advances to the

first frame. Until film loading is complete, “

When the film has been properly set, “ ” is displayed on the LCD panel.

If the letter “ ” blinks on the LCD panel, film is not properly loaded.

Open the camera back again and reload film.

Imprinting the date/time on pictures

(Lite Touch Zoom 140ED QD only)

Select the date/time indicator by pressing the

MODE/SEL button.

The year is indicated by the lower two digits, and the time is in the

24-hour cycle. The example in the illustration shows Apr. 1, 2001.

The letter “M” appears to label the month indication, but it is not

imprinted on pictures.

Each time you press the MODE/SEL button, the indicator changes in the

order shown below:

The imprinted date/time may be difficult to recognize if the imprint

position or the subject is:

• White or bright.

• Orange or yellow.

If you take a picture exceeding the number of frames on the film, the

date/time may not be imprinted correctly on the picture.

Adjusting diopter

Turn the diopter adjustment dial.

If the image in the viewfinder is unclear, turn and adjust the diopter

adjustment lever.

Caution:

As you look into the viewfinder and operate the diopter adjustment

dial, make sure not to injure your eye with your finger or fingernail

during adjustment.

About the Antifog Viewfinder

A specially treated plastic surface prevents the eyepiece from

fogging when shooting in cold or warm, humid environments.

If the antifog viewfinder eyepiece is smeared, gently wipe it with a dry,

soft cloth (e.g. a lens cloth). Avoid wiping with force; otherwise, the

eyepiece may be damaged.

Holding the camera properly

Hold the camera firmly.

Prop your elbows against your body and hold the camera with both

hands.

When holding the camera vertically, make sure that the flash is on top as

shown.

Do not block the lens, autofocus window, or flash with your fingers or

hair, or the strap.

Be careful not to press down on the flash unit when it is in the

popped-up position.

Operating the Shutter Release button

Lightly press the button and confirm the green

LED lights up.

When you press the button lightly, the focus and exposure are achieved,

and the green LED lights up.

The focus is locked (Focus lock

button is depressed lightly.

The flash automatically fires when there is not enough light or the

subject is backlit.

Pressing the Shutter Release button abruptly in one stroke may result in

Selecting Regular or Panorama mode

What’s Panorama mode?

In panorama mode, a portion of the top and bottom part of the frame is

cut exposing an area of approx. 13 × 36mm and is usually printed in

approx. 89 × 254mm size.

Select the Regular or Panorama mode.

When compared with regular-format pictures, extra time and cost may be

Zooming

Press the Zoom button to compose the picture.

for wide-angle for telephoto

Press the

zoom button for telephoto (140mm) photography or the

zoom button for wide-angle (38mm) photography.

Remove your finger from the button when the desired image size is

obtained.

When the camera is not operated for more than 2 minutes, the lens

automatically retracts to the

(wide-angle) position.

Shooting

This camera employs a highly accurate wide-area passive-type

autofocus system, which enables easy focusing and sharp

shooting of a distant view or a subject through a window.

Center the autofocus frame mark on the main

subject.

If the main subject is outside the autofocus frame:

Use the focus lock to achieve focus. (

Lighting/blinking of the green LED

When correct focus has been achieved, the green LED lights up.

The green LED blinks either slowly or quickly when the subject is out of

focus.

aSlow blinking indicates the subject is too close.

For correct focus to be achieved, keep the camera away from the

subject for more than approx. 0.74m.

aQuick blinking indicates that the subject is difficult to focus.

Use the focus lock. (

p. 26)

Slowly press the Shutter Release button all the

way.

If the subject is dark or backlit in Auto Flash mode, the flash fires

automatically.

Pressing the Shutter Release button abruptly in one stroke may result in

camera shake.

When not in use, close the slide cover to save battery power.

Rewinding the film

Film rewinds automatically.

At the end of the film roll, the film rewinding starts automatically.

While the film is rewinding, the number on the frame counter decreases

one by one. When rewinding is complete, the letter “ ” blinks for

approx. 20 seconds, then stops blinking and remains lit.

If rewinding stops midway through the roll because of a dead battery, it

resumes automatically as soon as the battery is replaced.

Do not open the camera back until the letter “ ” starts blinking.

To rewind the film at mid-roll.

Press the mid-roll rewind (

) button using the stud

on the strap lug or the point of ball-point pen.

Once rewinding starts, there is no need to keep the button pressed.

When the main subject is not in the center of the picture

Focus lock photography

When the subject to be focused is outside the autofocus frame in

the center of the picture, use focus lock, which enables you to

change the picture composition while locking the focus.

1.^{Compose the picture.}

If the shutter is released in a condition like that in the above example

where the main subject is outside the autofocus frame, the background

is in focus, and the main subject is out of focus. In such situations, use

focus lock to change the picture composition while temporarily locking

the focus on the main subject.

Center the autofocus frame on the main

subject and lightly press the Shutter Release

button.

The green LED lights up when correct focus has been achieved, and the

focus is locked as long as the Shutter Release button is depressed

lightly.

Do not change the camera-to-subject distance

While the green LED lights up, the focus is locked. Do not change the

camera-to-subject distance.

Difficult-to-focus subjects

The following subjects may be difficult to focus.

Use the focus lock (

p. 26) to focus on another subject

equidistant from the camera, then compose the picture to shoot.

L Subjects of low contrast, such as blue sky, or shiny subjects,

such as a shiny car body or water surface.

L Subjects with continuous and repeated patterns such as buildings.

L Scenes with subjects at different distances within the

autofocus frame.

L Strongly back lit subjects or those having a bright shiny

background.

Minimum camera-to-subject distance is approx. 0.74m

If you wish to shoot a subject such as a flower as large as possible in a

picture, you can get as close to the subject as approx. 0.74m.

aThe orange LED lights up:

Flash charging is completed.

The flash is ready to fire.

aThe orange LED blinks slowly:

The flash is being charged. The shutter cannot

be released until the LED lights up. Once take

your finger away from the Shutter Release

button, and lightly press the button again. If

the orange LED lights up, the shutter can be

released.

aThe orange LED blinks quickly:

The popped-up flash unit is being pressed down. The flash will not

fire when you release the shutter, even if in the Flash mode.

Do NOT touch the flash unit.

The reference distance values are shown below.

With ISO100 film speed

(wide-angle) setting: approx. 0.74 to 4.4m

(telephoto) setting: approx. 0.74 to 2.5m

With ISO400 film speed

(wide-angle) setting: approx. 0.74 to 8.8m

To automatically fire the flash

Auto Flash mode

The flash automatically fires when there is not enough light or the

subject is backlit.

When you open the slide cover, the power is turned on and the built-in

flash automatically pops up. The “ ” mark appears on the LCD

panel and Auto Flash mode is automatically selected.

Automatic flash firing for a backlit scene

When the subject is backlit, the flash is automatically fired while

simultaneously compensating exposure for the main subject and

the background.

Check that the orange and green LEDs light up,

then shoot.

Use this mode in places, such as museums, where flash

photography is prohibited, or to achieve a natural lighting effect at

dusk or for night scenes.

Use a tripod or place the camera on a stable

flat surface.

Since slow shutter speeds are usually selected in this mode, use a

tripod to prevent camera shake.

Anytime Flash mode

Use this mode to intentionally fire the flash without regard to light

conditions.

Slow Sync Flash mode

Use this mode to brighten both the subject and the background in

a night view or at dusk.

Use a tripod or place the camera on a stable

flat surface.

Since slow shutter speeds are usually selected in this mode, use a

tripod to prevent camera shake.

To reduce the "Red-eye" effect

Red-eye Reduction mode

In flash photography, the subject’s eyes may sometimes appear

bright red. To reduce this “red-eye” effect, use this mode.

Both camera and subject be still

flash fires. Be careful not to move the camera or let the subject move

until the flash fires.

The Red-eye Reduction mode is not automatically canceled by turning

the power off. To cancel the Red-eye Reduction mode, press the

button until “ ” disappears from the LCD panel.

About Red-eye Reduction mode

This mode is not recommended when shooting fast-moving subjects.

the shutter is released.

After the shot, Self-Timer mode is canceled.

Self-Timer mode is automatically canceled if the camera is not operated

for more than approx. 2 minutes or when the slide cover is closed.

Using the remote control (optional)

For releasing the shutter from a distance.

When you use the remote control for the first time, pull out the

transparent insulation sheet from the remote control.

remote control.

The shooting distance of the remote control is within approx. 5m while

Remote Control mode will be automatically canceled if the camera is

not operated for more than approx. 2 minutes or when the slide cover

is closed.

Compose the picture, aim the remote control

unit at the camera, and press the Shutter

Release button on the unit.

The Self-timer lamp lights up for approx. 2 seconds before the shutter

is released.

Within 2 minutes after taking the last shot, you can still continue to

shoot by remote control.

If the reception sensor on the camera is exposed to strong light, the

remote control may not operate properly.

The life of the battery in the remote control unit is approx. 5 years. If

the battery is exhausted, the shutter may not be released with the

remote control. Replace the battery inside the remote control with new

Replacing the remote control battery

While keeping the battery holder release lever

pressed as the arrow 1 on the remote control

unit indicates to release the lock, pull out the

battery holder from the remote control unit 2.

Use one 3 V lithium (CR2025) battery.

Insert the battery with + polarity side facing up into the battery holder.

Insert the battery holder into the remote

control unit until it clicks closed.

Warning:

Keep the batteries out of the reach of children. If a battery is swallowed,

Correcting the date and time

(Lite Touch Zoom 140ED QD only)

Press the MODE/SEL button for more than 2

seconds.

When the date/time display format is Year/Month/Day, Month/Day/Year,

or Day/Month/Year, the left most number indicator blinks first. For Day/

Hour/Minute display, the center number indicator blinks first.

The date/time correction can be performed with the camera either on or

off. When the camera is on, the data will be immediately registered if the

slide cover is closed, or the Mid-roll Rewind button or a Zoom button is

pressed while the setting is in progress.

2.^{Press the ADJ. button to set the blinking digit.}

Each time you press the ADJ. button, the number advances by one.

Holding the ADJ. button pressed for more than 2 seconds advances the

number quickly.

When the blinking indicator is correctly set,

press the MODE/SEL button again so that the

next indicator blinks.

Repeat steps 2 and 3 to set all the digits. When the year/month/date or

date/hour/minute have been adjusted, press the MODE/SEL button to

finish the adjustment procedure. If the year/month/date or date/hour/

minute are all displayed correctly, adjustments are completed.

Camera care tips

When the camera is not in use:

Close the slide cover to turn the camera off when not in use.

This prevents accidental release of the shutter and resulting

battery drain.

When the camera will not be used for a long

period:

Remove the battery and store the camera in a cool, dry, clean

place.

It is recommended to install a battery once a month and fire the

flash several times to prevent deterioration of the capacitors.

Keep the camera dry:

The Nikon Lite Touch Zoom 140ED / Lite Touch Zoom 140ED QD

is not waterproof, and therefore should not be exposed to rain or

saltwater.

Do not apply strong shock to the camera:

Do not drop the camera or hit it against a hard surface.

When storing the camera:

Do not leave the camera in an excessively hot and humid place,

such as inside a closed car or car trunk or in front of a heater, or a

place exposed to chemicals such as camphor or naphthalene.

Using a desiccant during storage is recommended.

Maintenance:

Use a dry, soft cloth or commercially available blower brush or

lens cleaner to remove dirt and smudges.

Lightly wipe away the dirt on the Antifog Viewfinder eyepiece with

a dry soft cloth (e.g. a lens cloth).

Use the flash intermittently:

Firing the flash repeatedly makes the battery and camera hot.

Allow sufficient time for them to cool off before taking pictures

again.

When using the camera at low temperature:

The camera may not operate at low temperature with a nearly

exhausted battery. Use a fresh battery at low temperatures, keep

spare batteries warm, and use them alternately.

Battery power may be restored when the temperature returns to

normal.

Installation d’une pile

Type de pile

Utilisez pour cet appareil une pile au lithium CR123A ou DL123A 3 V.

1.^{Ouvrez le couvercle du logement de la pile.}

Tout en dégageant la fermeture comme indiqué par la flèche dans

l’illustration ci-dessus, ouvrez le couvercle du logement de la pile.

2.^{Installez une pile neuve.}

Respectez la polarité et installez la pile dans le sens de la flèche indiquée

dans l’illustration ci-dessus.

3.^{Refermez le couvercle du logement de la pile.}

Appuyez fermement sur le couvercle jusqu’à ce qu’il s’encliquette.

L’horloge intégrée est réinitialisée lorsque vous retirez la pile. N’oubliez

Mise sous tension de l’appareil

Ouvrez le couvercle coulissant.

Lorsque vous ouvrez le couvercle coulissant dans le sens de la flèche,

l’appareil se met sous tension, le flash intégré sort automatiquement et

l’objectif se déploie en position grand angle.

Refermez le couvercle jusqu’à ce qu’il s’encliquette.

Pour refermer le couvercle, faites-le d’abord légèrement coulisser de

manière à démarrer la rétraction de l’objectif. Lorsque l’objectif est

complètement rétracté, refermez lentement le couvercle.

Conseils concernant le film 35mm codé DX

Utilisez un film 35mm codé DX avec cet appareil.

Avec les films codés DX, la sensibilité se règle automatiquement.

Les sensibilités de films réglées automatiquement par cet appareil sont :

50, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600 et 3200 ISO.

Avec un film non codé DX, la sensibilité se règle automatiquement sur

100 ISO.

Lorsque chargez/retirez un film, veillez à ne pas ouvrir le dos de

l’appareil sous le rayonnement direct du soleil.

Film conseillé

Nous préconisons l’emploi de films 400 ISO qui offrent de bons

résultats en photographie au flash et une protection raisonnable contre

les risques de bougé.

Faites glisser le levier de déverrouillage du dos de l’appareil (1), puis

Alignez l’amorce du film sur le repère de

positionnement rouge.

Si l’amorce du film est insérée plus loin que le repère de positionnement

rouge ou si la fin de l’amorce est repliée, le film risque de ne pas se

dérouler correctement.

Maintenez la cartouche du film et assurez-vous que le film est

correctement positionné et bien tendu.

Refermez le dos de l’appareil et vérifiez si le

film est correctement chargé.

Sélectionnez l’indicateur date/heure en

appuyant sur le bouton MODE/SEL.

L’année est indiquée par les deux chiffres inférieurs et l’heure est indiquée suivant

le système de 24 heures. L’exemple dans l’illustration indique le 1er avril 2001.

La lettre “M” apparaît pour identifier l’indication du mois, mais elle n’est

pas impressionnée sur les photos.

Chaque fois que vous appuyez sur le bouton MODE/SEL, l’indicateur

Tournez la molette de réglage dioptrique.

Si l’image dans le viseur n’est pas claire, tournez et ajustez le levier de

réglage dioptrique.

Attention:

Lorsque vous regardez dans le viseur et que vous actionnez la

molette de réglage dioptrique, veillez à ne pas vous mettre le doigt

ou l’ongle dans l’œil pendant le réglage.

A propos du viseur antibuée

Une surface plastique spécialement traitée empêche la buée de se

former sur le viseur lorsque vous réalisez des prises de vue dans

un endroit froid, chaud ou humide.

Si l’oculaire du viseur antibuée est souillé, frottez-le délicatement au

moyen d’un chiffon sec et doux (ex. un chiffon pour lentilles). Evitez

d’utiliser la force, sinon vous risquez d’abîmer l’oculaire.

Prise en main correcte de l’appareil

Maintenez fermement l’appareil.

Serrez les coudes le long du corps et maintenez l’appareil des deux

mains.

Lorsque vous maintenez l’appareil verticalement, veillez à ce que le flash

N’obstruez pas l’objectif, la fenêtre de mise au point automatique ou le

Pour obtenir une mise au point correcte, gardez l’appareil à une

Rembobinage du film

Le film se rembobine automatiquement.

Le rembobinage démarre automatiquement à la fin du film.

Pendant le rembobinage du film, le nombre dans le compteur de vues

diminue unité par unité. Lorsque le rembobinage est terminé, la lettre

“

” clignote pendant environ 20 secondes, puis cesse de clignoter et

reste allumée.

Si le rembobinage s’arrête à mi-course parce que la pile est déchargée, il

reprendra automatiquement dès que vous aurez remplacé la pile.

N’ouvrez pas le dos de l’appareil avant que la lettre “ ” se mette à

clignoter.

Mémorisation de la mise au point

Si le sujet à mettre au point se trouve en dehors des repères de la

zone de mise au point, utilisez la fonction de mémorisation de la

mise au point qui vous permet de modifier la composition de

l’image tout en verrouillant le réglage de la mise au point.

1.^{Composez l’image.}

Si vous actionnez le déclencheur comme dans l’exemple ci-dessus où le

sujet principal se trouve en-dehors des repères de la zone de mise au

point automatique, l’arrière-plan sera net tandis que le sujet principal sera

flou. Dans de telles conditions, utilisez la fonction de mémorisation de la

mise au point pour modifier la composition de l’image tout en verrouillant

temporairement le réglage de la mise au point sur le sujet principal.

Centrez le sujet principal à l’intérieur des

repères de la zone de mise au point automatique

et appuyez légèrement sur le déclencheur.

Le témoin vert s’allume lorsque la mise au point est correctement réglée

Remplacement de la pile de la télécommande

Maintenez le levier de libération du support de

la pile enfoncé, comme indiqué par la flèche

1 pour désactiver le verrouillage, puis sortez

le support de la pile de la télécommande 2.

Correction de la date et de l’heure

(Lite Touch Zoom 140ED QD uniquement)

Appuyez sur le bouton MODE/SEL pendant au

moins 2 secondes.

Si le format d’affichage de la date/heure est Année/Mois/Jour, Mois/

Jour/Année ou Jour/Mois/Année, c’est le chiffre à l’extrême gauche qui

se met à clignoter le premier. Pour le format d’affichage Jour/Heure/

Minutes, c’est le chiffre central qui clignote d’abord.

La correction de la date/heure peut être effectuée avec l’appareil sous ou

hors tension. Lorsque l’appareil est sous tension, les données sont

immédiatement enregistrées si le couvercle coulissant est refermé, ou

si le bouton de commande de rembobinage forcé ou un bouton de

zoom est actionné alors que le réglage est en cours.

Appuyez sur le bouton ADJ. pour régler le

chiffre qui clignote.

Chaque fois que vous appuyez sur le bouton ADJ., le nombre avance

d’une unité.

Maintenez le bouton ADJ. enfoncé pendant au moins 2 secondes pour

faire avancer le nombre plus rapidement.

Lorsque le chiffre qui clignote est correctement

réglé, appuyez de nouveau sur le bouton MODE/

SEL pour faire clignoter l’indication suivante.

Répétez les étapes 2 et 3 pour programmer les autres chiffres. Lorsque

Conseils d’entretien de l’appareil

Lorsque vous n’utilisez pas l’appareil:

Refermez le couvercle coulissant pour mettre l’appareil hors

tension lorsque vous ne l’employez pas.

Cela évite le déclenchement accidentel de l’obturateur et l’usure de

la pile qui en résulte.

Si vous prévoyez de ne pas utiliser

l’appareil pendant une période prolongée:

Retirez la pile et rangez l’appareil dans un endroit frais, sec et

propre.

Nous conseillons d’introduire une pile une fois par mois et de

déclencher le flash plusieurs fois de suite pour éviter une

détérioration des condensateurs.

Gardez l’appareil au sec:

Le Lite Touch Zoom 140ED / Lite Touch Zoom 140ED QD n’est pas

étanche et ne peut de ce fait pas être exposé à la pluie ou à l’eau

saline.

Ne soumettez pas l’appareil à des chocs

violents:

Ne laissez pas tomber l’appareil et ne le cognez pas contre des

surfaces dures.

Rangement de l’appareil:

Ne laissez pas l’appareil à un endroit excessivement chaud et

humide, comme à l’intérieur d’une voiture fermée, dans le coffre

d’une voiture ou face à un chauffage et ne l’exposez pas à des

substances chimiques telles que du camphre ou de la naphtaline.

Entretien:

Utilisez un chiffon doux et sec ou un pinceau soufflant disponible

dans le commerce, ou encore un nettoyant à objectif pour éliminer

les taches et les souillures.

Eliminez délicatement la saleté présente sur l’oculaire antibuée du

viseur au moyen d’un chiffon propre et sec (p.ex. un chiffon pour

lentilles).

Utilisez le flash par intermittence:

Le déclenchement répété du flash échauffe la pile et l’appareil.

Laissez-leur suffisamment de temps pour refroidir avant

d’effectuer de nouvelles prises de vues.

Utilisation de l’appareil à basse

température:

Il se peut que l’appareil ne fonctionne pas à basse température

avec une pile presque déchargée. Utilisez une pile neuve sous de

basses températures, gardez des piles de réserve au chaud, et

Leichte und kompakte Bauweise mit eingebautem 3,7fachen Zoom

und Brennweitenbereich von 38 bis 140mm ( S. 117).

ED-Glas von Nikon (ED = Extra-low Dispersion - äußerst

geringe Lichtstreuung) mit nur wenigen Farbfehlern, das sehr

beliebt ist als Objektiv für einäugige Spiegelreflexkameras von

Nikon, und einer asphärischen Linse mit Kontrast und

Auflösung von höchster Qualität.

Der Blitz wird automatisch ausgelöst, wenn die Beleuchtung zu

Einlegen der Batterie

Batterietyp

Verwenden Sie für diese Kamera eine Lithiumbatterie CR123A oder

DL123A mit 3 V.

1.^{Öffnen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel.}

Lösen Sie die Arretierung, wie mit dem Pfeil in der Abbildung

dargestellt, und öffnen Sie dabei den Batteriefachdeckel.

2.^{Legen Sie eine neue Batterie ein.}

Achten Sie auf die richtige Polarität, und legen Sie die Batterie in der in

der Abbildung oben dargestellten Richtung ein.

3.^{Schließen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel.}

Drücken Sie fest auf den Batteriefachdeckel, bis er mit einem Klicken einrastet.

Die eingebaute Uhr wird zurückgesetzt, wenn die Batterie

herausgenommen wird. Denken Sie daran, Uhrzeit und Datum erneut

einzustellen (nur Lite Touch Zoom 140ED QD) (

Einschalten der Kamera

Öffnen Sie die Schiebeabdeckung.

Wenn Sie die Abdeckung in Pfeilrichtung aufschieben, wird die Kamera

eingeschaltet, der integrierte Blitz klappt automatisch auf, und das

Objektiv wird in Weitwinkelposition ausgefahren.

Verschieben Sie die Abdeckung, bis sie mit einem Klicken einrastet.

Wenn Sie die Kamera wieder schließen wollen, verschieben Sie die

Abdeckung zunächst nur leicht nach innen. Das Objektiv wird wieder in

die Kamera zurückgefahren. Erst wenn das Objektiv ganz eingefahren

ist, schieben Sie die Abdeckung langsam vollständig zu.

Überprüfen der Batterieladung

Achten Sie darauf, daß die Anzeige für schwache

Batterie (

) nicht im LC-Display zu sehen ist.

Überprüfen Sie vor dem Aufnehmen grundsätzlich immer die Batterie.

Es empfiehlt sich, Ersatzbatterien mit sich zu führen. In einigen Ländern

und Regionen sind geeignete Batterien unter Umständen schwer

erhältlich.

Tips für 35mm-Filme mit DX-Code

Filmempfindlichkeit

Verwenden Sie für diese Kamera 35mm-Filme mit DX-Code.

Bei einem Film mit DX-Code wird die Filmempfindlichkeit automatisch eingestellt.

Eine automatische Einstellung ist bei folgenden Empfindlichkeiten

möglich: ISO 50, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600 und 3200.

Bei einem Film ohne DX-Code wird die Empfindlichkeit automatisch auf

ISO 100 eingestellt.

Achten Sie beim Einlegen oder Herausnehmen eines Films darauf, die

Rückwand der Kamera nicht in direktem Sonnenlicht zu öffnen.

Empfohlener Filmtyp

Es empfiehlt sich, ISO 400-Filme zu verwenden, die bei Bildern mit Blitz gute

Resultate ergeben und auch verwacklungsunschärfen reduzieren.

1.^{Öffnen Sie die Kamerarückwand.}

Verschieben Sie den Entriegelungshebel für die Kamerarückwand (1),

um die Kamerarückwand (2) zu öffnen.

Ziehen Sie den Filmanfang bis zur roten

Markierung heraus.

Wird der Filmanfang weiter als bis zu der roten Markierung eingeführt

oder das Ende des Filmanfangs geknickt, wird der Film möglicherweise

nicht korrekt transportiert.

Halten Sie die Filmpatrone fest, und achten Sie darauf, den Film richtig

einzulegen. Der Film darf sich nicht nach oben wölben.

Schließen Sie die Kamerarückwand, und

überprüfen Sie, ob der Film richtig eingelegt wurde.

Sobald die Kamerarückwand geschlossen ist, wird der Film automatisch

zum ersten Bild transportiert. Bis dieser Vorgang abgeschlossen ist,

blinkt “

” im LC-Display.

Wenn der Film korrekt eingelegt wurde, erscheint “ ” im LC-Display.

Wenn der Buchstabe “ ” im LC-Display blinkt, ist der Film nicht richtig

eingelegt. Öffnen Sie die Kamerarückwand nochmals, und legen Sie den

Film erneut ein.

Einbelichten von Datum/Uhrzeit in Aufnahmen

Wählen Sie mit der Taste MODE/SEL die

Datums-/Uhrzeitanzeige aus.

Das Jahr wird mit den ersten beiden Ziffern angegeben, und die Uhrzeit wird im 24-

Stunden-Format angezeigt. Das Beispiel in der Abbildung zeigt den 1. April 2001.

Der Buchstabe “M” kennzeichnet die Monatsangabe, er wird aber nicht

in die Bilder einbelichtet.

Mit jedem Tastendruck auf die Taste MODE/SEL wechselt die Anzeige

wie unten dargestellt:

In der Abbildung sind die Positionen der Einbelichtung zu sehen.

Das einbelichtete Datum bzw. die Uhrzeit ist unter Umständen schwer zu

erkennen, wenn das Motiv an der Einbelichtungsposition folgende Farbe aufweist:

• Weiß oder hell.

• Orange oder gelb.

Wenn Sie ein Bild aufnehmen, dessen Nummer höher ist als die Anzahl der Bilder auf

dem Film, werden Datum/Uhrzeit auf dem Bild möglicherweise nicht richtig einbelichtet.

Einstellen der Dioptrie

Drehen Sie den Regler für Dioptrieneinstellung.

Wenn das Bild im Sucher nicht scharf ist, drehen Sie den Regler für

Dioptrieneinstellung.

Vorsicht:

Wenn Sie durch den Sucher schauen und den Regler für die

Dioptrieneinstellung bedienen, passen Sie auf, daß Sie sich beim

Einstellen nicht mit dem Finger oder Fingernagel am Auge

verletzen.

Hinweis zum Antibeschlag-Okular

Eine spezielle Kunststoffbeschichtung verhindert das Beschlagen

des Okulars, wenn Sie die Kamera in einer kalten oder

feuchtwarmen Umgebung einsetzen.

Wenn das Okular des Antibeschlag-Suchers verschmutzt ist, wischen

Sie es vorsichtig mit einem trockenen, weichen Tuch (z. B. einem

Objektivreinigungstuch) sauber. Drücken Sie dabei nicht zu stark auf.

Andernfalls kann das Okular beschädigt werden.

Richtiges Halten der Kamera

Halten Sie die Kamera ruhig und fest.

Stützen Sie die Ellbogen gegen den Körper ab, und halten Sie die

Kamera mit beiden Händen.

Wenn Sie die Kamera vertikal halten, achten Sie darauf, daß sich der

Blitz wie in der Abbildung dargestellt oben befindet.

Verdecken Sie das Objektiv, das Autofokusfenster oder den Blitz nicht

mit Fingern, Haaren oder dem Trageriemen.

Achten Sie darauf, nicht auf den Blitz zu drücken, wenn er aufgeklappt

ist.

Drücken des Auslösers

Drücken Sie die Taste leicht, und vergewissern

Sie sich, daß die grüne LED leuchtet.

Wenn Sie die Taste leicht drücken, werden Fokus und Belichtung

eingestellt, und die grüne LED leuchtet auf.

Die Fokuseinstellung bleibt gleich (Fokusspeicherfunktion

solange Sie den Auslöser leicht gedrückt halten.

Drücken Sie den Auslöser ganz nach unten, um

das Bild aufzunehmen.

Der Blitz wird automatisch ausgelöst, wenn die Beleuchtung zu dunkel

ist oder sich das Motiv im Gegenlicht befindet.

Wenn Sie den Auslöser abrupt ganz nach unten drücken, kann die

Kamera leicht wackeln. Achten Sie also darauf, den Auslöser langsam zu

drücken.

Was ist der Panoramamodus?

Im Panoramamodus wird ein Bereich am oberen und unteren Rand des

Filmstreifens ausgespart, so daß etwa 13 × 36mm belichtet werden. Die

Abzüge haben in der Regel eine Größe von etwa 89 × 254mm.

Wählen Sie den normalen oder den

Panoramamodus aus.

teurer sein.

Vorsicht:

Halten Sie die Kamera nicht zu nah vors Gesicht, wenn Sie den

Panoramaschalter betätigen. Andernfalls könnten Sie sich mit dem

Finger am Auge verletzen.

Fotografieren

Diese Kamera arbeitet mit einem hochpräzisen, passiven Breitfeld-

Autofokussystem, mit dem Sie auch bei Fernaufnahmen oder beim

Fotografieren durch ein Fenster mühelos fokussieren und

Aufnahmen mit hoher Bildschärfe erzielen können.

Richten Sie die Markierung für den

Autofokusrahmen in der Mitte auf das

Hauptmotiv.

Wenn sich das Hauptmotiv außerhalb des

Autofokusrahmens befindet:

Verwenden Sie zum Fokussieren die Fokusspeicherfunktion (

Wenn die grüne LED leuchtet/blinkt

Wenn der Fokus korrekt eingestellt ist, leuchtet die grüne LED auf.

Die grüne LED blinkt langsam oder schnell, wenn das Motiv nicht fokussiert

ist.

aLangsames Blinken zeigt an, daß das Motiv zu nahe ist.

Damit der Fokus korrekt eingestellt werden kann, halten Sie die

Kamera mindestens 0,74m vom Motiv entfernt.

aSchnelles Blinken zeigt an, daß sich das Motiv nicht fokussieren läßt.

Verwenden Sie die Fokusspeicherfunktion (

S. 122).

Drücken Sie den Auslöser nun langsam ganz

nach unten.

Wenn Sie mit der Blitzautomatik arbeiten und das Motiv zu dunkel ist

oder sich im Gegenlicht befindet, wird der Blitz automatisch ausgelöst.

Wenn Sie den Auslöser abrupt ganz nach unten drücken, kann es

Verwacklungsunschärfen geben.

Wenn Sie die Kamera nicht benutzen, schließen Sie die

Schiebeabdeckung, um die Batterie zu schonen.

Zurückspulen des Films

Der Film wird automatisch zurückgespult.

Wenn das Ende der Filmrolle erreicht ist, wird der Film automatisch

zurückgespult.

Während der Film zurückgespult wird, verringert sich die Zahl im

Bildzähler nacheinander jeweils um eins. Ist der Film ganz

zurückgespult, blinkt der Buchstabe “ ” etwa 20 Sekunden und leuchtet

dann stetig.

Wenn während des Zurückspulens die Batterie leer wird, spult die Kamera

den restlichen Film zurück, sobald eine neue Batterie eingelegt wird.

Öffnen Sie die Kamerarückwand erst, wenn der Buchstabe “ ” zu

blinken anfängt.

So spulen Sie einen nur teilweise belichteten

Film zurück.

Drücken Sie mit der Spitze der Schlaufenöse oder

eines Kugelschreibers die Taste zum Zurückspulen

teilbelichteter Film (

Sobald das Zurückspulen beginnt, brauchen Sie die Taste nicht mehr

gedrückt zu halten.

Wenn sich das Hauptmotiv nicht in der

Bildmitte befindet

Fotografieren mit Fokusspeicherung

Wenn sich das Motiv, das scharfgestellt werden soll, außerhalb des

Autofokusrahmens in der Bildmitte befindet, verwenden Sie die

Fokusspeicherfunktion. Bei dieser Funktion können Sie den Bildausschnitt

nach Wunsch verändern, während der Fokus unverändert bleibt.

Richten Sie die Kamera auf den gewünschten

Bildausschnitt.

Wenn Sie in einer Situation wie im Beispiel oben, wenn sich das

Hauptmotiv außerhalb des Autofokusrahmens befindet, den Auslöser

drücken, wird der Bildhintergrund scharf eingestellt, und das

Hauptmotiv ist verschwommen. Verwenden Sie in solchen Situationen

die Fokusspeicherfunktion, und verschieben Sie den Bildausschnitt,

während der Fokus auf dem Hauptmotiv gleich bleibt.

Richten Sie den Autofokusrahmen in der Mitte

auf das Hauptmotiv, und drücken Sie den

Auslöser leicht.

Wenn der Fokus korrekt eingestellt ist, leuchtet die grüne LED auf.

Solange Sie den Auslöser leicht gedrückt halten, behält die Kamera die

Fokuseinstellung unverändert bei.

Ändern Sie nicht die Entfernung zwischen Kamera und Motiv!

Solange die grüne LED leuchtet, bleibt der Fokus unverändert. Ändern

Schwer fokussierbare Motive

Bei Motiven der folgenden Art kann es zu Problemen beim Fokussieren kommen.

Fokussieren Sie mit der Fokusspeicherfunktion (

S. 122) zunächst auf ein

anderes Motiv, das sich im gleichen Abstand von der Kamera befindet, und

wählen Sie dann den gewünschten Bildausschnitt.

Motive mit schwachen Kontrasten, zum Beispiel blauer Himmel oder

glänzende Oberflächen wie Autolacke oder Wasserflächen.

L Motive mit immer gleichförmigen Strukturen, wie zum

Beispiel Gebäude.

L Szenen mit mehreren Motiven in unterschiedlichem Abstand

innerhalb des Autofokusrahmens.

L Motive bei starkem Gegenlicht oder Motive mit einem sehr

hellen, glänzenden Hintergrund.

Der Mindestabstand zwischen Kamera und Motiv muß

ca. 0,74m betragen.

Um ein Motiv, zum Beispiel eine Blume, so bildfüllend wie möglich

aufzunehmen, können Sie bis auf etwa 0,74m an das Motiv herangehen.

Der Blitz wird automatisch ausgelöst, wenn die Beleuchtung zu

dunkel ist oder sich das Motiv im Gegenlicht befindet.

Wenn Sie die Schiebeabdeckung öffnen, wird die Kamera eingeschaltet,

und der integrierte Blitz wird automatisch aufgeklappt. Die Anzeige

automatisch ausgewählt.

Blitzautomatik bei Gegenlicht

Bei Gegenlichtaufnahmen wird der Blitz automatisch ausgelöst,

während gleichzeitig die Belichtung für das Hauptmotiv und den

Hintergrund ausgeglichen wird.

Achten Sie darauf, daß die orangefarbene und

die grüne LED aufleuchten, und drücken Sie

dann den Auslöser.

Diesen Modus sollten Sie wählen, wenn die Verwendung eines

Blitzlichts verboten ist, zum Beispiel in Museen, oder wenn Sie bei

Aufnahmen in der Dämmerung oder bei Nacht die

Lichtverhältnisse möglichst naturgetreu wiedergeben wollen.

Verwenden Sie ein Stativ, oder stellen Sie die Kamera

auf einer stabilen, waagerechten Oberfläche auf.

Verwenden Sie bei Blitzabschaltung ein Stativ

Da in diesem Modus in der Regel eine längere Verschlußzeit gilt, empfiehlt sich

Modus zur Verringerung des “Rote Augen”-Effekts

Bei Blitzaufnahmen erscheinen die Augen einer aufgenommenen

Person manchmal leuchtend rot. Verwenden Sie diesen Modus,

um diesen “Rote Augen”-Effekt zu verringern.

Kamera und Motiv dürfen sich nicht bewegen!

Die Lampe zur Verringerung des “Rote Augen”-Effekts leuchtet etwa

eine Sekunde auf, bevor der Blitz ausgelöst wird. Achten Sie darauf, die

Kamera nicht zu bewegen, und achten Sie darauf, daß sich auch das

Motiv nicht bewegt, bis der Blitz ausgelöst wird.

Dieser Modus ist für die Aufnahme von Motiven, die sich schnell

bewegen, nicht zu empfehlen. Das ist darauf zurückzuführen, daß die

Aufnahme erst etwa eine Sekunde nach dem Betätigen des Auslösers

erfolgt, damit das Motiv zuvor mit der Lampe zur Verringerung des

“Rote Augen”-Effekts angeleuchtet werden kann.

etwa 8 Sekunden lang und leuchtet dann 2 Sekunden stetig, bevor die

Aufnahme erfolgt.

Nach der Aufnahme wird der Selbstauslösermodus wieder ausgeschaltet.

Der Selbstauslösermodus wird automatisch ausgeschaltet, wenn Sie die

Kamera mehr als ca. 2 Minuten lang nicht bedienen oder die

Schiebeabdeckung schließen.

Die Fernbedienung (Sonderzubehör)

Mit der Fernbedienung können Sie die kamera aus einer gewissen

Entfernung auslösen.

Wenn Sie die Fernbedienung zum ersten Mal benutzen, ziehen Sie die

transparente Schutzfolie von der Fernbedienung ab.

Verwenden Sie ein Stativ, oder stellen Sie die Kamera auf einer stabilen,

waagrechten Oberfläche auf, wenn Sie die Fernbedienung verwenden.

Die Fernbedienung hat eine Reichweite von ca. 5m, wenn sie auf die

Kamera gerichtet wird. Wenn die Entfernung zwischen Kamera und

Motiv mehr als 5m beträgt, verwenden Sie den Selbstauslöser.

Der Fernbedienungsmodus wird automatisch ausgeschaltet, wenn Sie

die Kamera mehr als ca. 2 Minuten lang nicht bedienen oder die

Schiebeabdeckung schließen.

Richten Sie die Kamera auf den gewünschten

Bildausschnitt, richten Sie die Fernbedienung

auf die Kamera, und drücken Sie den Auslöser.

Die Selbstauslöseranzeige leuchtet etwa 2 Sekunden lang. Dann erfolgt

die Aufnahme.

Wenn seit der letzten Aufnahme nicht mehr als 2 Minuten vergangen

sind, können Sie mit der Fernbedienung weiterfotografieren.

Wenn der Fernbedienungssensor an der Kamera starker

Lichteinstrahlung ausgesetzt ist, funktioniert die Fernbedienung unter

Umständen nicht ordnungsgemäß.

Die Lebensdauer der Batterie in der Fernbedienung beträgt etwa 5

Jahre. Wenn die Batterie leer ist, funktioniert die Fernbedienung nicht

mehr. Tauschen Sie die Batterie in der Fernbedienung gegen eine neue

aus (

Austauschen der Batterie in der Fernbedienung

Halten Sie den Batteriehalterlösehebel an der

Fernbedienung in Richtung des Pfeils 1 gedrückt,

um den Batteriehalter zu entriegeln, und ziehen Sie

den Batteriehalter aus der Fernbedienung heraus 2.

2.^{Tauschen Sie die Batterie aus.}

Verwenden Sie eine 3-V-Lithiumbatterie (CR2025).

Legen Sie die Batterie mit dem Pluspol + nach oben in den Batteriehalter ein.

Schieben Sie den Batteriehalter in die

Fernbedienung, bis er mit einem Klicken

einrastet.

Achtung:

Bewahren Sie Batterien NICHT in der Reichweite von Kindern auf.

Falls eine Batterie verschluckt wird, wenden Sie sich umgehend an

Korrigieren von Datum und Uhrzeit

(nur Lite Touch Zoom 140ED QD)

Drücken Sie mehr als 2 Sekunden lang die

Taste MODE/SEL.

Bei den Anzeigeformaten Jahr/Monat/Tag, Monat/Tag/Jahr oder Tag/Monat/

Jahr für Datum und Uhrzeit blinkt die Zahlenangabe ganz links zuerst. Bei

der Anzeige Tag/Stunde/Minuten blinkt die Zahlenangabe in der Mitte zuerst.

Bei der Korrektur von Datum und Uhrzeit kann die Kamera ein- oder

ausgeschaltet sein. Wenn die Kamera eingeschaltet ist, werden die

Daten sofort gespeichert, wenn die Schiebeabdeckung geschlossen oder

die Taste zum Zurückspulen teilbelichteter Filme bzw. die Taste Zoom

während des Einstellens gedrückt wird.

Stellen Sie die blinkende Zahl mit der Taste

ADJ. ein.

Mit jedem Tastendruck auf ADJ. wird die Zahl um eins weitergeschaltet.

Wenn Sie die Taste ADJ. mehr als 2 Sekunden lang gedrückt halten,

laufen die Zahlen schnell durch.

Wenn die blinkende Angabe korrekt eingestellt

ist, drücken Sie die Taste MODE/SEL erneut,

so daß die nächste Angabe zu blinken beginnt.

Stellen Sie die übrigen Zahlen wie in Schritt 2 und 3 erläutert ein. Wenn

Sie Jahr/Monat/Datum oder Datum/Stunde/Minute eingestellt haben,

schließen Sie den Einstellvorgang mit der Taste MODE/SEL ab. Wenn

Jahr/Monat/Datum oder Datum/Stunde/Minute korrekt angezeigt

werden, ist die Einstellung abgeschlossen.

Wenn die Batterie ausgetauscht wird

Nehmen Sie in einem solchen Fall die Batterie heraus, und legen

Sie sie dann wieder ein.

Wenn die Batterie herausgenommen wird, werden Datum und

Uhrzeit gelöscht. Stellen Sie Datum und Uhrzeit erneut ein,

nachdem die Batterie wieder eingelegt wurde (

S. 137).

Tips zur Pflege der Kamera

Wenn die Kamera nicht benutzt wird:

Schließen Sie die Schiebeabdeckung, um die Kamera

auszuschalten, wenn Sie sie nicht benutzen.

Auf diese Weise verhindern Sie, daß versehentlich eine Aufnahme

erfolgt und der Batterie dadurch Strom entzogen wird.

Wenn die Kamera längere Zeit nicht benutzt

wird:

Nehmen Sie die Batterie heraus, und bewahren Sie die Kamera in

kühler, trockener und sauberer Umgebung auf.

Darüber hinaus empfiehlt es sich, einmal im Monat eine Batterie

einzulegen und mehrmals den Blitz auszulösen. Auf diese Weise

verhindern Sie, daß die Leistungsfähigkeit der Kondensatoren

nachläßt.

Schützen Sie die Kamera vor Feuchtigkeit:

Die Lite Touch Zoom 140ED / Lite Touch Zoom 140ED QD ist nicht

wasserdicht. Schützen Sie sie daher vor Regen, Salzwasser usw.

Schützen Sie die Kamera vor heftigen

Erschütterungen:

Lassen Sie sie nicht fallen, und stoßen Sie mit ihr nicht gegen

harte Oberflächen.

Wenn Sie die Kamera aufbewahren:

Lagern Sie die Kamera nicht in sehr warmer oder feuchter

Umgebung, zum Beispiel in einem geschlossenen Auto oder

Kofferraum oder vor einer Heizung. Schützen Sie sie vor

Chemikalien wie Kampfer oder Naphthalin.

Es empfielt sich, die Kamera zusammen mit einem

feuchtigkeitsabsorbierenden Mittel zu lagern.

Wartung:

Entfernen Sie Staub und Verschmutzungen mit einem weichen,

trockenen Tuch oder einem handelsüblichen Staubbläser oder

Pinsel.

Entfernen Sie Verunreinigungen auf dem Okular des Antibeschlag-

Suchers vorsichtig mit einem trockenen, weichen Tuch (z. B.

einem Objektivreinigungstuch).

Verwenden Sie den Blitz nur in Abständen:

Wenn der Blitz mehrmals hintereinander ausgelöst wird, erhitzen

sich die Batterie und die Kamera.

Warten Sie in einem solchen Fall, bis Batterie und Kamera wieder

abgekühlt sind, bevor Sie weitere Aufnahmen machen.

Wenn Sie in kalter Umgebung fotografieren

wollen:

Wenn Sie die Kamera in kalter Umgebung verwenden wollen und

die Batterie fast leer ist, funktioniert die Kamera unter Umständen

nicht. Verwenden Sie bei niedrigen Temperaturen eine neue

Batterie, halten Sie Ersatzbatterien warm, und verwenden Sie die

Batterien abwechselnd.

Die Funktionsfähigkeit der Batterie wird möglicherweise bei

normalen Temperaturen wiederhergestellt.

Sicherheitshinweise zum Umgang mit der Kamera

ACHTUNG (Warnhinweise zur Kamera)

•

Versuchen Sie NICHT, selbst die Kamera zu zerlegen, zu repapieren

oder Veränderungen daran vorzunehmen. Dabei besteht die Gefahr

eines elektrischen Schlags, und auch an der Kamera könnte es zu

Fehlfunktionen kommen.

Wenn die Kamera herunterfällt oder anderweitig beschädigt wird,

berühren Sie KEINE freiliegenden Metallteile im Inneren der Kamera.

Dabei besteht die Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlags oder anderer

Verletzungen. Nehmen Sie die Batterie heraus, und lassen Sie die

Kamera bei einem autorisierten Nikon-Händler oder Nikon-

Kundendienstzentrum reparieren.

•

Wenn Sie an der Kamera Rauchentwicklung feststellen, nehmen Sie

sofort die Batterie heraus. Wenn Sie die Kamera in einem solchen Fall

weiterbenutzen, kann es zu Verbrennungen kommen. Seien Sie beim

Entnehmen der Batterie sehr vorsichtig. Nehmen Sie die Batterie

heraus, und lassen Sie die Kamera bei einem autorisierten Nikon-

Händler oder Nikon-Kundendienstzentrum reparieren.

•

Tauchen Sie die Kamera NICHT ins Wasser, und schützen Sie sie vor

Spritzwasser oder Regen. Dabei besteht das Risiko eines Feuers oder

eines elektrischen Schlags.

Verwenden Sie die Kamera NICHT in einer feuer- oder

explosionsgefährdeten Umgebung. Benutzen Sie die Kamera nicht in

der Nähe von Staub oder brennbaren Gasen. Andernfalls besteht die

Gefahr eines Brandes oder einer Explosion.

Fotografieren Sie jemanden, der ein Fahrzeug lenkt, NICHT mit

Blitzlicht. Dabei besteht Unfallgefahr.

Lösen Sie den Blitz NICHT in geringem Abstand vor dem Gesicht einer

anderen Person aus. Der Blitz kann zu einer Schädigung des

Augenlichts führen. Wenn Sie ein Baby oder Kleinkind mit Blitz

fotografieren wollen, halten Sie einen Abstand von mehr als 1m ein.

•

Bewahren Sie das Kleinzubehör der Kamera außerhalb der Reichweite

von Kindern auf. Kinder könnten die Batterien verschlucken. Falls eine

Batterie verschluckt wird, wenden Sie sich umgehend an einen Arzt.

Achten Sie darauf, daß sich die Trageschlaufe NICHT um Ihren Hals

wickelt. Achten Sie insbesondere darauf, daß Kinder sich die Trageschlaufe

NICHT um den Hals legen. Dabei besteht Erstickungsgefahr.

Schauen Sie NICHT durch den Sucher direkt in die Sonne oder eine andere

starke Lichtquelle. Dabei besteht die Gefahr von Netzhautschädigungen, die

zu einer permanenten Beeinträchtigung des Sehvermögens führen können.
