N 149 V Power Supply
Das Netzgerät N 149 V dient der Stromversor-
The N 149 V power supply is designed to feed
one M 147 Tube, M 149 Tube or M 150 Tube
microphone. It has the classic Neumann design
of vintage tube power supplies and features the
modern circuitry of the regular N 149, com-
bined with a built-in all-voltage DC-converter.

Das N 149 V ist ein Gerät mit Überstrom- und
Kurzschlußsicherheit. Es erfüllt die Bestimmun-
gen nach UL 1950, 3101-1, 544, 2601, CSA
22.2#234, 125, 601, 1010.1, EN 60950 (IEC
950), EN 41003, IEC 601 und 1010. Die EMV-
Prüfung erfolgte nach EN 55011, EN 55022,
VFG 243 Klasse B sowie FCC Teil 15 Klasse B.
The N 149 V is protected against excess
currents and short circuits. It fulfills the
requirements of UL 1950, 3101-1, 544, 2601,
CSA 22.2#234, 125, 601, 1010.1, EN 60950
(IEC 950), EN 41003, IEC 601 and 1010. It is
EMC tested following EN 55011, EN 55022,
VFG 243 class B and FCC part 15 class B.
Für die Kaltgerätesteckdose nach IEC 320 liegt
eine Netzleitung bei.
A power mains cable is included for the
IEC 320 mains socket.
Das Gerät ist für alle Netzspannungen zwischen
100 und 240 V geeignet, sowie für Netz-
frequenzen zwischen 50 und 60 Hz.
The N 149 V is suited for all voltages between
100 and 240 V, with line frequencies of 50 and
60 Hz.
Die Betriebsbereitschaft des N 149 V wird
durch eine orangefarbene Leuchte signalisiert.
Um die Eigenschaften bzgl. der elektrischen
Sicherheit gemäß den genannten Standards zu
erhalten, liegt der EIN-AUS-Schalter nicht in
der Netzverbindung, sondern schaltet die
Stromversorgung des Mikrophons. Um
Netzspannungsfreiheit zu erreichen, ist der
Netzstecker zu ziehen.
An orange lamp signalizes operation of the
N 149 V. To preserve the features regarding
electrical safety according to the mentioned
standards, the ON-OFF switch does not lie in
the mains path but in the microphone supply
circuitry. To completely detach the N 149 V
from the mains lines please unplug the mains
connection.
Unter dem Schalter und der Leuchte befinden
sich die 8-polige Anschlußdose für das Kabel
KT 8 zum Mikrophon, sowie der 3-polige XLR-
Stecker als Modulationsausgang. Die Beschal-
tung dieser Steckverbinder ist die gleiche wie
beim Serien-Netzgerät N 149 (A).
Below the switch and the lamp the cable
connectors are situated: 8-pin female DIN
connector for the KT 8 cable leading to the
microphone and the 3-pin male XLR providing
the audio signal output. Pin assignment is the
same as in the regular N 149 (A) power supply.
