CHARCOAL TRAY OPERATING INTRUCTIONS
MODE D’EMPLOI POUR L’UTILISATON DU BAC À CHARBON DE BOIS
1. Remove the grids to access the sear plates
2. Remove one sear plate and insert the charcoal tray. The lip on
the tray will rest on the formed rail at the front of the grill, the slot
in the rear of the tray will fit over the tab protruding up from the
tube burner. Do not install the charcoal tray over top of the
infrared burner as the burnt charcoal ash will quickly plug the
ports in the infrared burner.
3. Fill the tray flush with the sides (approximately 2” deep) with
charcoal. Do not use lighter fluid.
4. Replace the grids.
5. Light burner directly under the charcoal and leave on for
approximately 5 minutes.
6. After the charcoal has ignited turn off the burner and allow
another 10 to 15 minutes for the grill to reach cooking tempera-
ture.

3. Remplir le bac avec du charbon de bois jusqu’au rebord (approximativement 2” de profondeur). Ne pas employer d’essence à
briquet.
4. Replacer les grilles de cuisson.
5. Allumer le brûleur directement sous le bac à charbon et laisser chauffer pour environ 5 minutes.
6. Après que le charbon de bois s’est enflammé, éteindre le brûleur et attendre de 10 à 15 minutes pour que le gril atteigne la
température de cuisson désirée.
