POWER ADAPTER KIT

WARNING:
• Disconnect power before any Installation or repair.
• Wear safety glasses.
The Model 1092-01 Power Adapter Kit permits the connection of a three-tab radio control
receiver to a garage door operator that doesn’t conform to the three-terminial standard
adopted by DORCMA. (These terminals are the access to the 24 VAC control circuits.)
The operators may have only two terminals or the numbering sequence may be different.
To Install a Three-tab Receiver:
1. Loosen the three screws on the kit terminal block and insert the receiver tabs under the
lugs as shown in the figure. The lugs will fit down into the open ends of the receiver
tabs. Retighten the screws.
2. Mount the receiver near the operator power head on a joist or the ceiling by inserting
the two sheet metal screws Into the terminal block holes and tighten.
WARNING: DO NOT MOUNT THE TERMINAL BLOCK ON A METAL OR OTHER
CONDUCTIVE SURFACE.
3. Connect the two spade lugs to the wall button terminals on the operator and plug the
transformer into a 115 VAC outlet.

NÉCESSAIRE D’ADAPTATEUR D’ALIMENTATION
Modèle 1092-01
ATTENTION:
• Débranchez l’électricité avant toute Installation ou réparation.
• Portez des lunettes de sécurité.
Le nécessaire d’adaptateur d’alimentation, modèle 1092-01, permet le raccordement d’un
récepteur de télécommande à trois pattes à un ouvre-porte de garage qui n’est pas con-
forme à la norme à trois bornes adoptée par la DORCMA. (Les trois bornes permettent
d’accéder aux circuits de commande de 24 V CA.) La commande peut avoir deux bornes
seulement ou la séquence de numérotation peut être différente.
Installation d’un Récepteur à Trois Pattes:
1. Desserrer les trois vis de la plaquette de connexions du nécessaire et insérer les
pattes du récepteur sous les cosses, comme le montre la figure. Les cosses s’adaptent
dans les extrémités ouvertes des pattes du récepteur. Resserrer les vis.
2. Monter le récepteur prés de l’alimentation de la commande sur une solive ou au
plafond, en insérant les deux vis à tôle dans les trous de la plaquette de connexions et
en les serrant.
AVERTISSEMENT: NE PAS MONTER LA PLAQUETTE DE CONNEXIONS SUR
UNE SURFACE EN METAL OU EN MATERIAU CONDUCTEUR.
3. Relier les deux cosses aux bornes du bouton mural, sur la commande. Brancher le
transformateur dans une prise de 115 V CA.
