1 . 2 PREPARE YOUR JAMBOX fOR PAIRING  
1 . 3 PREPARE YOUR PHONE OR DEVICE  
1 . 4 MAKE THE CONNECTION

Turn on Bluetooth®.  
Go to your device’s Bluetooth® settings.  
No Bluetooth? JAMBOX also connects via  
3.5mm stereo input.

Hold the ON/OFF SWITCH in the upmost  
position for about 3 seconds.  
ADD OR SEARCH FOR DEVICES  
When JAMBOX by Jawbone” appears,  
select it.  
ON AN IPHONE®, IPOD®, OR IPAD®  
Go to SETTINGS > GENERAL > and  
enable BLUETOOTH

Wait for the LED RING to flash red & white.  
You will hear JAMBOX say that it is ready  
to pair.

IF ASKED FOR A PASSCODE  
Enter 0000”  
ON A BLACKBERRY®  
Go to SETTINGS/OPTIONS >  
BLUETOOTH and enable BLUETOOTH

Release the ON/OFF SWITCH to the  
middle/on position.  
This is a one-time event per device. To pair  
your Jawbone JAMBOX to another device,  
repeat steps 1.2 to 1.4.  
OTHER CELL PHONES  
Go to JAWBONE.COM/PAIRING or review  
the instruction manual that came with  
your phone.

GET TALKING  
Your JAMBOXcan be used as a wireless  
speakerphone. Just speak in the direction  
of the front grill. The built-in microphone

2 . 1 GET THE BEST SOUND  
2 . 2 WHISPERS INfO  
ACTIVATE DIALAPP  
For best listening results, make sure your  
Jawbone JAMBOX tells you important  
information like remaining battery life and  
caller ID for incoming calls.  
Hold the TALK BUTTON until you hear a  
beep, then release and follow the voice  
prompts. Voice Dial is pre-loaded.  
®
Jawbone JAMBOXis resting on its base  
®
only works when connected via Bluetooth .  
and facing forward.  
REDIAL LAST NUMBER  
When connected wirelessly via Bluetooth®,  
it’s best to turn the volume on your phone/  
device fully up and then use the PLUS and  
MINUS BUTTONS on your JAMBOX.  
3 . 1 ANSWER/END A CALL  
Press the TALK BUTTON on your Jawbone  
JAMBOX to both answer and end a call.  
BATTERY LIFE  
®
Press the TALK BUTTON twice.  
Press the TALK BUTTON to hear remaining  
battery life. When your battery is low, you  
will hear automatic battery status alerts.  
3 . 3 MUTING  
DECLINE AN INCOMING CALL  
Mute the built-in microphone by holding  
the PLUS and MINUS BUTTONS for 2  
seconds until you hear a beep.  
When connected via 3.5mm stereo input,  
your phone/device may distort the audio  
signal if turned up too loud. Turn down  
the volume on your phone/device before  
adjusting the volume on your JAMBOX.  
Hold the TALK BUTTON for 2 seconds.  
2 . 3 CONNECTION PRIORITY  
Incoming and outgoing calls will always take  
precedence over audio playback. Audio  
content via 3.5mm stereo input will override  
wireless audio via Bluetooth.  
3 . 2 MAKE A CALL  
3 . 4 SIMULTANEOUS CALLS  
To answer another call, just press the  
TALK BUTTON.  
Use your phone to dial as usual. Listen and  
talk through your Jawbone JAMBOX.
