GENERAL DESCRIPTION
DISASSEMBLY
1. Unscrew and remove (1) cap from the (8) filter body.
2. Remove (2) gasket from (1) cap.
3. Remove (3) spring and (4) button guide from the (8) filter body.
4. Pull the (6) cartridge and (5) ball from the (8) filter body.
5. Unscrew the (8) filter body from the (7) body and remove (2)

The ARO model 651418-XX-B material filter is used to separate
foreign materials, like dirt, stones and sweeping compound, from
the material handling section. Material filters and strainers can be
installed in a system to combat this problem, thereby achieving
longer service life. Filters and strainers are normally located in one
of two places in the pumping system. At this point, where the fluid
enters the material handling section, the strainer prevents foreign
material from entering the system.
Replace worn seal and parts with new parts. Reverse disassembly
instructions for assembly.
